We had such an exceptional turnout for our 9th Annual AFI Baby Reunion last Sunday! 🧡 🎈New and familiar faces alike gathered to catch up with Dr. M and the AFI team after a one-year hiatus in 2023. provided a perfect place to reconnect and celebrate everyone with food 🍕🍰, fun 🥳🙃 and a few libations. 🍹🍻Thank you as always to our AFI families who beat the heat 🔥 and reminded us how fortunate we are to share in your lives, past and present! 💕

We cannot let this week pass without acknowledging our exceptional medical assistant team, composed of our office manager Natasia, as well as our bilingual CMAs Neymi, Alondra and Alex (not pictured). They ran office seamlessly on Friday with 30+ patients to care for—just an example of their dedication in making certain that every patient is greeted and navigated through their visit with kindness and compassion. Earlier this week, Dr. M made a quick trip to the meeting in Denver to speak on behalf of on parental assurance testing as a component of preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGT-A).
The addition of parental assurance testing not only provides external validation of a proper parental match prior to embryo transfer, but also may provide insight as to whether abnormalities in tested embryos are predominantly originating from the egg or s***m. Over 300 attendees were present at the Cooper symposium!

Hey AFI families! 🩷🩵 Our Ninth Annual AFI Baby Reunion is coming up in a few weeks and we are so EXCITED to be hosting our event at 🍕🍝🍹🎉 at their Cuernavaca location. Please join Dr. M and the AFI team for our traditional Fall feast with music and merriment celebrating YOU!

Invitations were sent last Friday and space is limited so we kindly ask that you RSVP by Monday, October 14th. We are in our 15th year of providing fertility care to the greater Austin area, so we acknowledge that some of our addresses may be out of date. Dr. M and the AFI crew had a cool 😎 experience on a humid 🥵 Friday afternoon celebrating the practice’s golden🌟fourteenth anniversary on June 14th! We appreciated our guides Wes and Austin with for keeping things fun throughout our day at the lake. Most of all, we are forever and always grateful for our amazing AFI families—thank you for letting us care for you! ♥️

Happy Medical Assistant’s Week to our exceptional trio that includes our office manager, Natasia and our Spanish interpreters, Alex and Neymi. 💕 We are VERY appreciative of their work that includes welcoming and guiding each patient through their day-to-day fertility care at AFI. We also want to let everyone know that while we made the difficult decision to forego a baby reunion this year, we look forward to returning in October 2024 with a new-and-improved celebration befitting our wonderful AFI families. ❤️

As usual, the Big Easy provided a warm welcome, including some educational home cooking at the Tulane School of Culinary Medicine.
