Toxins are hard to escape. They’re found in the foods we eat, water we drink, products we put on our bodies, and in the air we breathe.
While it’s nearly impossible to avoid all of the toxins, there are lifestyle changes you can implement to reduce your toxic load and the stress they put on your body. We regularly work with clients to help make these changes, and to support drainage in the body to naturally remove toxins.
As we work to detox your system, it’s important to detox your environment as well. Household cleaning products are the most obvious entry point for toxins into the home, especially heavy duty cleaners, but everyday products like candles, beauty and cosmetics, cookware and food storage, and even clothing can add to your toxic load.
Next week, on March 25th, we’re hosting a “Spring Cleaning” event at The Spring where we’ll be making our own non-toxic cleaning products and providing information about common sources of toxic chemicals, how they affect your body and endocrine system, and some effective alternatives.
