We’re always looking for ways to improve. Checking out for incision support. Thanks for letting us try it out for our patients. Early results look promising.

What is it? A silk fibroin based adhesive wound closure device. We place it on top of our closed surgical incisions: tummy tucks, breast lifts etc.

What I like about it.

1. Offloads tension (most important for getting a fine line scar)

2. 2 weeks set it and forget it

3. Shower with it in place

4. Adheres nicely without the adhesive irritation we see with other options.

5. It’s mesh so moisture is not accumulating under the material

What I don’t like about it. 💰 it does cost more than the usual suspects. But hey we want our patients to have all options. The best way to treat a scar is prevention 💯
