Weโ€™re always looking for ways to improve. Checking out for incision support. Thanks for letting us try it out for our patients. Early results look promising.

What is it? A silk fibroin based adhesive wound closure device. We place it on top of our closed surgical incisions: tummy tucks, breast lifts etc.

What I like about it.

1. Offloads tension (most important for getting a fine line scar)

2. 2 weeks set it and forget it

3. Shower with it in place

4. Adheres nicely without the adhesive irritation we see with other options.

5. Itโ€™s mesh so moisture is not accumulating under the material

What I donโ€™t like about it. ๐Ÿ’ฐ it does cost more than the usual suspects. But hey we want our patients to have all options. The best way to treat a scar is prevention ๐Ÿ’ฏ
