We're actively working towards having 2025-26 Covid-19 vaccine available in the office, for any (and every) patient requesting it. Please stayed tuned for updates! We will communicate by email and social media with every GROW family, as soon as we have more detailed information.

We thank you for your patience, as this year has presented a new level of uncertainty and conflicting messaging. We continue to follow the American Academy of Pediatrics and their consistent vaccine recommendations. Read more, here:

While COVID-19 causes mild illness in some people, others get very sick and need hospital care. These articles can help you learn more about COVID-19 and how you can protect your family and others.

A Mighty Girl Pick of the Day: "Women in White Coats: How the First Women Doctors Changed the World of Medicine" by Olivia Campbell. In the early 1800s, many women avoided medical care. Male doctors were often demeaning to female patients; they were frequently ignorant about women's biology; and the stigma of a diagnosis could hold women back from marriage, jobs, and more. As a result, women died in large numbers from preventable, treatable illness. Motivated by personal loss and frustration over inadequate medical care, three women — Elizabeth Blackwell, Elizabeth Garrett Anderson and Sophia Jex-Blake — decided to fight for the right to become doctors themselves. Not only would they earn medical degrees, paving the way for other women to do the same, but they would also create women-run facilities and colleges that changed the way women receive medical care. This book, perfect for fans of "Hidden Figures" and "The Radium Girls," celebrates three women who changed medicine forever. Highly recommended for adult readers.

But the insurer did make some exceptions. On several occasions, Blue Cross executives signed deals to pay for their wives’ treatment." -- via ProPublica

Our Story

We opened in 2014 with our two provider-owners, Dr. Leigh Ann Grady and Dr. Juliette Owens. Since then, we’ve grown to add two additional pediatricians, Dr. Laura Wise, and Dr. Natalie Rusk. Coincidentally, the first initial of each doctor’s last name spells out GROW!

What’s important to us at GROW:

  • Maintaining a friendly, welcoming environment for our families and staff. Every member of our team genuinely loves what they do.

  • Giving our patients a higher level of care- our pediatricians are all Board Certified, and are passionate about including families in their child’s care plan, using science to guide our medical decision-making, providing guidance to our families that goes beyond what is expected, and doing what they feel is truly best in any scenario.
