Bell’s Palsy Tools & Techniques I Use as a Manual Therapist 💆‍♀️đź§
Bell’s Palsy is a sudden, temporary weakness or paralysis of the facial muscles—often from inflammation or trauma to the facial nerve. The road to regaining facial function can be frustrating, but hands-on support can make a big difference.
In this video, I show some of the tools I use to help improve circulation, relieve tension, and support facial nerve activation:
✨ Gua sha
✨ Facial cups
✨ Ached Away mini scraper
✨ Intraoral massage (with gloves)
✨ Hot towels for soothing support
Manual therapy—especially intraoral massage by a trained professional—can be a powerful way to assist the facial muscles and nerves in reconnecting and restoring balance.
If you're navigating facial tension, headaches, TMJ pain, or even limited tongue function, my online video courses at HelpHeadPain.com teach safe, guided techniques to work on the intraoral and mimetic muscles from home.
