Our Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants recently participated in an informative in-service led by Baker Orthotics and Prosthetics. The session covered the various components of a prosthesis, recovery timelines, and practical interventions clinicians can use to help optimize fit, comfort, and function.

Staff had the opportunity to explore different prosthetic materials and examine knee and foot joint designs including advanced microprocessor-controlled technology. The presentation also highlighted how our clinicians plays a key role in supporting patients throughout their prosthetic journey.

A big thank you to Baker Orthotics and Prosthetics for sharing their expertise and helping our team continue to deliver exceptional, evidence-based care!

The Austin and Temple Capitol employees went all out for this year’s Halloween party! From favorite movie and TV characters to creative costumes of all kinds, everyone brought their A-game. The night was filled with music, dancing, laughter, and great conversations making it an unforgettable evening. Congratulations to our costume contest winners: Amanda and Andrew Kiss as Ellen Ripley and Space Jockey from Alien, Michelle and Mark McLaughlin as Squid Game contestants, Candi Boliver as Mrs. Roper and Tamara Cagle as The Nun.

San Antonio employees got into the Halloween spirit a little early at our Employee Appreciation Costume Party this past weekend! Team members showed off their creativity and channeled favorite characters for a night of fun, laughter, and great camaraderie.

The evening was filled with dancing, delicious treats, and plenty of memorable moments. Congratulations to some of our standout costume winners: Dorothy (aka Flo C.) and the Scarecrow, Nacho Libre (aka Eustacio A.) and Sister Encarnación, Carl and Russell (aka Kristy S.) and Hulk Hogan and Macho Man (aka Chris D.)

A special thank you to Chris Daily, PTA, for letting us serve his special Oktoberfest Lager; a perfect seasonal touch to an unforgettable fall evening.

Capitol was proud to sponsor the La Casita Del Barrio Run/Walk in San Antonio this past weekend, benefiting House of Neighborly Service - HNS.

As part of our continued commitment to community involvement and in celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month, we were honored to support such a meaningful event. It was a wonderful opportunity to come together for a great cause and make a positive impact.

It's National Pancake Day and in keeping with tradition, we flipped some pancakes on the griddles this morning for our team members. Always a fun way to start the day and kick off the weekend.

We had a couple of fantastic Roadshow lunches today in both San Antonio and Austin, bringing together our field staff, leadership, and office teams for some well-deserved appreciation and connection.

These monthly luncheons are just one small way we show gratitude to our incredible team members. Their dedication and hard work ensure that our patients receive the most compassionate, high-quality care across Central Texas.
