TOC Eye and Face is excited to announce Dr. Irina Belinsky 👩🏽⚕️ will be joining our practice early 2023 ✨
Dr. Belinsky was born in Ukraine 🇺🇦 and grew up in New York 🗽 She graduated magna cm laude 🎓 from New York University. She was inspired by her family of physicians, including mother and grandfather who were ophthalmologists, to pursue a career in medicine 🧪
She attended Jefferson Medical College 🏫 in Philadelphia, where she was awarded a National Institutes of Health grant to study cancers affecting the eye 👁️ and fell in love with ophthalmology. Graduating cm laude 📚 and with Alpha Omega Alpha honors, she went on to do her internship at California Pacific Medical Center and her residency at New York University.
She completed two fellowships, Ocular Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery at Wills Eye Hospital. In 2018, she received the prestigious Research Award 🏅 from the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
After her medical training, Dr. Belinsky joined the faculty practice at NYU Langone Health where she served as a surgeon, clinician, and educator 👩🏽🏫 She has published in peer-reviewed medical literature, authored a book 📖 chapter on eyelid reconstruction, and lectured at many national meetings. She has taught 📝 and mentored medical students and residents. Dr. Belinsky went on two surgical and teaching missions to Mongolia. She was a five-time invited guest on Doctor Radio, selected by her peers as a Top Doctor, and more recently recognized by Castle Connolly’s Exceptional Women in Medicine 💥
Outside work, Dr. Belinsky loves spending time with her husband Miguel, son Niko, and rescue cat 🐱 Jerry. She speaks three languages and has a passion for traveling the world 🌎
She enjoys running, standup paddle boarding, and exploring her new home city of Austin.

After donation, your whole blood is separated into several different individual components (red cells, plasma, and platelets). Dr. Anish Abrol was born in Flint, Michigan. From an early age, he had a fascination with the field of medicine and ultimately to become a physician. He graduated from the University of Michigan 🏫 with a degree in 🧠 Neuroscience. Dr. Abrol then completed his medical training 📚 at Wayne State University School of Medicine 💉 in Detroit, Michigan. It was during his medical school training that he developed a keen interest in 👃 otolaryngology.
✨ Dr. Abrol went on to complete his residency in otolaryngology – head & neck surgery at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
During his residency he was appointed to leadership 🏅 positions within the Department of Otolaryngology, Graduate Medical Education, and served as a resident liaison to the American Academy of Otolaryngology. During his residency training, Dr. Abrol developed a particular passion for facial plastic surgery, so upon completion of his residency he continued his training with a one-year fellowship in facial plastic & reconstructive surgery ✨ at the University of Washington in Seattle.
He is excited to now bring his expertise to TOC Eye and Face here in Austin 🙌
✨ Dr. Abrol has many professional interests including management of the aging face, facial aesthetics, cosmetic and functional rhinoplasty, skin cancer, skin cancer reconstruction, otoplasty, microtia, facial reanimation, and craniofacial trauma.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Abrol has many interests. He is an avid golfer 🏌️♀️ and enjoys sports. He also enjoys 🌎 traveling, reading, and exploring with his wife, Monica, and their dog 🐶 Archie.

After graduating 👨🎓 from Duke University, Dr. Allen attended Baylor College of Medicine 🏥 where he attained his M.D. and his Ph.D., in Human and Molecular 🧬 Genetics.
Dr. Allen then completed an ophthalmology residency and oculoplastic surgery fellowship 📚 at the University of Iowa. Dr. Allen has practiced in New Mexico, Iowa and Texas and was on the faculty at the University of Iowa and most recently at Baylor College of Medicine ✨
He has lectured 👨🏫 extensively nationally and internationally and has over 120 peer-reviewed publications 📝
Dr. Allen is deeply committed to medical education 📖 and exceptional patient ❤️ care, to this end, he has created Oculoplastic Surgery Videos, an archive of over 300 narrated videos available to view at www.oculosurg.com.

When most people think of “donating blood” they usually think about the regular whole blood donation, which is when you donate a pint of blood. After donation, your whole blood is separated into several different individual components (red cells, plasma, and platelets). Those components are what send to local hospitals to be transfused to local patients. They need to see about 200 donors total each day to keep up with the local need.

Dr. Anish Abrol was born in Flint, Michigan. From an early age, he had a fascination with the field of medicine and ultimately to become a physician. He graduated from the University of Michigan 🏫 with a degree in 🧠 Neuroscience. Dr. Abrol then completed his medical training 📚 at Wayne State University School of Medicine 💉 in Detroit, Michigan. It was during his medical school training that he developed a keen interest in 👃 otolaryngology.
✨ Dr. Abrol went on to complete his residency in otolaryngology – head & neck surgery at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
During his residency he was appointed to leadership 🏅 positions within the Department of Otolaryngology, Graduate Medical Education, and served as a resident liaison to the American Academy of Otolaryngology. During his residency training, Dr. Abrol developed a particular passion for facial plastic surgery, so upon completion of his residency he continued his training with a one-year fellowship in facial plastic & reconstructive surgery ✨ at the University of Washington in Seattle.
He is excited to now bring his expertise to TOC Eye and Face here in Austin 🙌
✨ Dr. Abrol has many professional interests including management of the aging face, facial aesthetics, cosmetic and functional rhinoplasty, skin cancer, skin cancer reconstruction, otoplasty, microtia, facial reanimation, and craniofacial trauma.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Abrol has many interests. He is an avid golfer 🏌️♀️ and enjoys sports. He also enjoys 🌎 traveling, reading, and exploring with his wife, Monica, and their dog 🐶 Archie.

After graduating 👨🎓 from Duke University, Dr. Allen attended Baylor College of Medicine 🏥 where he attained his M.D. and his Ph.D., in Human and Molecular 🧬 Genetics.
Dr. Allen then completed an ophthalmology residency and oculoplastic surgery fellowship 📚 at the University of Iowa. Dr. Allen has practiced in New Mexico, Iowa and Texas and was on the faculty at the University of Iowa and most recently at Baylor College of Medicine ✨
He has lectured 👨🏫 extensively nationally and internationally and has over 120 peer-reviewed publications 📝
Dr. Allen is deeply committed to medical education 📖 and exceptional patient ❤️ care, to this end, he has created Oculoplastic Surgery Videos, an archive of over 300 narrated videos available to view at www.oculosurg.com.

Dr. Karen Brown grew up 🏡 in Richmond, VA.
She attended the University of Virginia 📖 where she earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in French and Art 🎨 History. She then moved to France 🇫🇷 to teach English to elementary school 👩🏫students for a year before starting her medical training.
She completed her medical school training at Virginia Commonwealth University 🏥 in Richmond, VA where she was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha 🏅 honor medical society.
Following medical school, she spent a year working in clinical research in ophthalmology 👁 at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, FL.
She then completed her internship at UT 🤘 Austin Dell Medical School in Austin, TX and her ophthalmology residency at UT Southwestern in Dallas, TX.
During her training, she has authored several publications 📚 in peer-reviewed journals, presented at ophthalmology conferences and has been selected as a reviewer for an ophthalmic journal. She has a passion for international 🌎 service and has participated in annual ophthalmology trips to the Eastern Caribbean with World Pediatric Project, a nonprofit organization that provides subspeciality surgical care to children 👧 👦
She hopes to continue to serve this area and others during and after her fellowship training. In her free time, she enjoys running with her dog 🐶 Arthur and spending time outdoors.
Dr. Brown will be with TOC Eye and Face ✨ for two years during which she will complete her two-year ASOPRS Fellowship and one-year AACS Fellowship.
