Beautiful, natural results for this lovely patient. Our patient was referred to Dr. Vikram D. Durairaj for her concerns regarding the laxity and hooding of her upper eyelid skin that was interfering with her vision. Dr. Durairaj, performed a bilateral upper blepharoplasty, internal ptosis repair and an endoscoptic browlift. The postop photo was taken at 3 months postop, and she is absolutely delighted with her natural results. We are honored that she chose TOC Eye and Face for her care.

TOC's Dr. Mark L. Mazow is set to be honored with the 2026 Distinguished Service Award during this year's TSEPS Annual Meeting.

2026 Distinguished Service Award:
The Distinguished Service Award represents the highest honor awarded by TSEPS. This accolade recognizes individuals who have truly excelled in caring for and advocating for ophthalmology patients. TSEPS President Zev Shulkin, MD, will present the 2026 award to Dr. Mark L. Mazow.

Mazow has been a prominent leader within TSEPS, AAO, ASOPRS, and other organizations for many years. Notably, in 2021, he guided TSEPS as President during one of the most challenging legislative sessions Texas patients have faced.
On Saturday, March 28, TSEPS will express their gratitude to Dr. Mazow for his unwavering commitment to his patients and profession.

Dr. Tanuj Nakra, Dr. Donovan Reed, and Dr. Remi Flor attended the AACS 2026 Annual Scientific Meeting in Tampa FL. It was outstanding conference that allowed TOC Eye and Face to showcase innovative surgical techniques and collaborate with other cosmetic surgeons from around the country and the world.

Dr. Reed presented and won the 2nd best scientific poster at the conference, Cosmetic Surgery in the United States Military: A Model for Collaboration, Growth, and Innovation. Dr. Reed was also invited to be a member of several expert panels in the conference to include Evolving Approaches in Cosmetic Surgery: Expert Dialogues on Treatment Modalities, and Foundations for a Modern Cosmetic Surgery Career: From Fellowship to Financial Strategy.

Dr. Flor had the opportunity to present at the podium on Lateral Canthopexy as a Simple Adjunct to Cosmetic Lower Eyelid Blepharoplasty and was a panel member during the Small Incisions, Big Impressions: Mastering Minimally Invasive Eyelid Artistry. He also presented three scientific posters on innovative techniques utilized at TOC to include Electrocautery for Treatment of Prominent Superficial Eyelid and Facial Veins, Repurposing Resected Blepharoplasty Fat for Autologous Facial Fat Transfer, and Targeted Treatments for Midface and Periorbital Over-Volumization.

Dr. Nakra is a Fellowship Director for the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS) and preceptor for the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS).
