Recently, TCMS hosted a virtual educational event titled “Building a Trauma and Grief-informed Community.” In the aftermath of this event, Hugs Across America generously donated teddy bears 🧸 to assist those impacted by the flooding in North Texas. TCMS collaborated with Lirios Pediatrics to ensure these teddy bears found new homes. 🩷

Hugs Across America was established in response to the World Trade Center disaster. A teacher from The Churchill School in Manhattan utilized teddy bears to comfort children affected by the tragedy, promising each child their own bear to help alleviate their fears. The teddy bear hugs sparked a love story that continues today.
