Congratulations to Dr. Donald T. Donovan of Baylor College of Medicine Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, for receiving TAO's Lifetime Achievement Award! 👏

Recognized at last weekend's annual conference, Dr. Donovan has dedicated decades to advancing otolaryngology as Professor and Chair at Baylor College of Medicine.

A pioneer in managing subglottic stenosis and a beloved mentor, his compassionate care and leadership have shaped countless careers and transformed patient lives. Though he couldn't join us in person, we are thrilled to celebrate his extraordinary contributions to Texas ENT!

TAO Member Spotlight 📢 Get to know your TAO Resident Board Member, Shaina Gong, MD.

Dr. Gong is a 5th-year resident in McGovern Medical School's Otorhinolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery program. Dr. Gong received the 2021 Lloyd A. Storrs Jr., MD Resident Research Award and presented her research, which examined the preservation of olfactory function after superior turbinate resection in endoscopic transsphenoidal surgery.
