Weight gain and/or sluggish weight loss is the pits. And trust me when I say there can be lots of layers, but thyroid is a big layer that will need to be assessed at some point in your health journey. And not just TSH (more on that tomorrow!)

A lot of our patients are in a season in their healing journey where they need to show their body it’s safe ~
✨ Safe to ovulate {hellloo fertility + regular cycles}
✨ Safe to lose weight
✨ Safe to have normal bowels
✨ Safe to have no anxiety
...when I tell you that your body thrives in a state of safety in so many processes in the body, I’m not lyinnnn.

So, how can we show our body that we are SAFE? Starting with food (I’m not even listing the lifestyle factors here, but just with food).

➡️ Eating enough - Let your body know that you aren’t in danger in a famine state.
➡️ Eat nourishing foods - Let your body know that you have all the resources it needs
➡️ Stable blood sugar - Let your body know it doesn’t have to tap into stress hormones to regulate blood sugar..keep scrolling + there are a couple more things you can do to show your body it is safe. 🫶🏽

Especially if it’s been going on for a long time - what should you listen to and what is true?And what could be bad habits that have been created over time that actually isn’t something healthy to listen to? These 3 green flags + 3 red flags 🚩 are some that we see! Should I post some more?
