Still good advice. Give yourself a break. We know you are doing your best!
Very real advice. Everyone is doing their best in this very difficult time. Being kind and staying connected is vastly more important than an arbitrary academic goal. When we emerge from this, who do we want to be as families? Please please cut yourself some slack.

Austin Area Speech & Language Services will continue to follow CDC and Austin Public Health guidelines by requiring face masks and encouraging social distancing in our waiting area. We believe this is the best way to protect our therapists and clients from the ongoing pandemic. We also believe that by doing so, we hope to not contribute to another surge in Covid 19 cases in our area. Please contact your therapist if you have questions or concerns about our continued adherence to the wearing of masks.

Austin Area Speech & Language would like to express our deep sadness upon the tragic passing of a beloved pediatrician, Dr. Lindley Dodson. Our mutual patients have always spoken so highly about her kindness, compassion and commitment to the many children she treated. Our hearts go out to Dr. Dodson's family, friends and especially her children. All remain in our hearts and prayers.

As seen on a walk in Ms. Susanne’s neighborhood. If zero “ homeschooling” happens but everyone stays healthy, (mostly) kind to one another, engaged in some activity (making pancakes is both a math, science and self care lesson) then we consider this a success. There’s time to “catch up”( whatever that means) later. For now let’s be kind, patient and well.
