Very real advice. Everyone is doing their best in this very difficult time. Being kind and staying connected is vastly more important than an arbitrary academic goal. When we emerge from this, who do we want to be as families? Please please cut yourself some slack.

We believe this is the best way to protect our therapists and clients from the ongoing pandemic. We also believe that by doing so, we hope to not contribute to another surge in Covid 19 cases in our area. In a Zoom speech therapy meeting (client is blacked out) a friend played "happy birthday" on his cello for Ms. Susanne's dog Oliver's birthday. Ms. Susanne was wearing a special headgear for Friday. We are having great success doing speech online with the kids who are willing and able to participate.
I’m pretty sure this is how we’re going to feel when we can get back to the office and can see our wee friends in person.

In an effort to create a safer environment for our clients we are removing our fabulous toys and books from the waiting area. Although we’ve doubled down on wiping/cleaning them in recent weeks, it’s basically impossible to stay on top of it during this time.
