Congratulations to our Employee of the Month, Jessica Zietz! Jessica has been a part of our maintenance team for 5½ years. She was nominated by a resident who shared that Jessica is the kind of person who quietly makes everything better—from hanging pictures to troubleshooting TVs. She steps in without hesitation and gets the job done. Jessica even went the extra mile to help a resident by calling a company on her behalf, saving her money and reducing stress.

The resident noted that what truly sets Jessica apart is her attitude. She is consistently friendly, courteous, and willing to help, no matter the task. Her commitment to going above and beyond isn’t occasional—it’s simply who she is. Jessica genuinely loves her job, and it shows in every interaction.

Despite all she does, she never seeks recognition or rewards, but her impact doesn’t go unnoticed. The resident shared how grateful she is for Jessica’s dedication, positivity, and the example she sets every day.

We are so fortunate to have Jessica on our team and honored to have her as part of The Cedars family. Keep up the fantastic work, Jessica—and thank you for all you do for everyone at The Cedars!

Congratulations to our Spotlight Employee, Brenda Salmeron! Brenda has been at The Cedars as a Residential Care Assistant for a little over four months. She was also part of the team prior to returning in January 2026.

Brenda was nominated by a team member who shared that she always brings a warm smile, treats future families with kindness, and is wonderful with our residents. We’ve also received many compliments from family members about how kind and helpful she is with their loved ones.

We are honored to have Brenda on our team and know that when she is working, residents receive tender, loving care. We are truly blessed to have Brenda as part of The Cedars family.
