We all know Anastasia S. as one of our wonderful travel nurses. We know she has a huge heart, great smile, is incredibly thorough and knowledgeable, and she interacted with the surveyors like the pro she is in our recent survey. And today she received flowers and chocolate from the family of a patient because they feel they same way we do! (I pleaded with her to remove her mask when it was just she and I at the desk for just as long as I needed to capture her sweet smile!) Thanks Anastasia for your contributions to our team and our patients!

The owner of Lil’ Mama’s Kitchen brought lunch to our 3 North team today as a thank you for our service. Our wonderful Travel RN, KD Schade arranged it for us! Pesto chicken pasta and home made sour cream pound cake!! Thank you Lil’ Mama’s and KD!!❤️😷

With all the news coming out re: COVID19, please make plans for childcare if needed for your family. Talk to your coworkers and share childcare if needed. We must have staff to run a hospital and staff our unit. We need all the extra staff we can right now as well. Bonus offered for tonight, let Bobbi or HS know! Remember there is no testing being done for the virus, only screening. We will need extra staff all weekend as well.

We showered Britany Nicole Lloyd and soon to be Baby Brynlee today! Guess what her nursery theme is?! We have the best 3North family and today we got to see Baby Ruby Eljalfi and Baby Aurora too!!

Dr. Kueck and Dr.
Loar are two of the best surgeons on our 3 North Team and we love working with them. Today they provided a beautiful lunch for the day staff and are also providing dinner for the night staff! Thank you so much!

Congratulations to Sarah Cooper for being named the 3North September Employee of the Month! Sarah ALWAYS says “Yes!, I will be there!”, no matter who asks for help or where they are on the unit. She is always calm, smiling, pleasant, and we love working with her!
