If you give the QCR Network a clinical trial...
Tricia Harrison and Seneca Harrison will ask for a protocol to go with it.

When they get the protocol,
They will want a team to help them run it.

They'll gather PI's, coordinators, and maybe a mouse in a lab coat.
Then they'll need a stack of consent forms.

When Ashli Alejandro sees the consent forms,
She'll remember she needs patients to sign them.

Barbara Arispe will put up posters,
and maybe host lunch-and-learns and bring fresh baked cookies.

When the patients arrive,
Lisa Venghaus will want to do a screening visit.

The screening will need blood draws, vital signs, and a lot of questions.
And if Dr. Vachris takes vital signs, he'll remember he needs his stethoscope.

When he puts on his stethoscope,
He'll feel like a super-scientist and want to check patients heartbeat.

After Tricia collects all the data,
She'll need to enter it into the big, magical computer called the database.

When the database is full,
She'll get a report to review.

Reading the report will make her so proud,
she'll want to do ANOTHER clinical trial.

And if she wants another clinical trial...
She's going to need a protocol to go with it.

Today, we want to take a moment to celebrate a very special occasion with some work anniversaries of some truly outstanding members of our team.

Tracie Wesson is our COO and is one of our unsung heroes who does so much behind the scenes in orchestrating the symphony of our operations. Her ample years of experience in the clinical research industry has provided essential wisdom to both the Recruiting and Marketing departments on a daily basis. But more than that, she is the first person to celebrate a victory with recruitment when they schedule a patient and is the shoulder to cry on for the Marketing person when they get study materials rejected by the IRB.

Tiffany Stroud is our Regulatory Specialist who is involved in the nitty gritty of compliance with our sponsors, CRO's and the IRB. Her effervescent spirit is contagious around anyone who has the privilege of working with her. No one is better equipped to handle the vexations that come from working in her role.

Thank you for showing up, for giving your best, and for being a part of this team. Here’s to celebrating all that you’ve accomplished and all the great things still to come.

Congratulations, and happy anniversary! 🎉 🎖️

Everyone starts somewhere, and we think those beginnings say a lot about who we are today. From serving burgers to unloading trucks, our employees' first jobs helped shape their work ethic, values, and passion.

We're excited to share these stories with you! Not just because they're fun, but because we want you to get to know the incredible people behind the scenes.

What was YOUR first job? Tell us in the comments and let’s celebrate every step of the journey.

At BBRA, building trust with our patients is at the heart of what we do. Hear from Dr. Venghaus on how she takes time to connect with each patient. Her warmth, empathy, and genuine curiosity help form strong relationships that go beyond the clinical chart.

We asked our Lead Principal Investigator Timothy P Vachris how long it took him to become an expert in the medical field. You'll be amazed to hear his answer!
