Our Outreach team had a great time connecting with families at the Heart of Round Rock Run event this weekend. A few rain clouds couldn’t stop us from participating and showing up for our community. ☁️🏃🏃‍♀️

: Last month, Lone Star Circle of Care CEO Jon Calvin joined thousands of community health center advocates in Washington, DC for the National Association of Community Health Centers Policy & Issues Forum. He participated in discussions on policy priorities, quality, access, and innovation in primary care. During the visit, Jon also accompanied Central Texas community health center leaders on Capitol Hill, where they met with policymakers to advocate for federal funding and resources for our Texas neighbors. LSCC leadership will return to Washington this month to continue championing community health center priorities at the national level.

Flu A or Flu B? Both strains are circulating in Central Texas, and our pediatric team is seeing it firsthand.

🅰️ Flu A tends to spread quickly and often causes more severe illness.
🅱️ Flu B may show up later in the season and can bring more GI symptoms.
