✨🐉Happy year of the Wood Dragon 🐉 ✨
Wood Dragon utilizes creativity to balance strength and adaptability and center community care. This year is a chance for folks to assume their unique qualities and bring a positive impact on the world. Wood must remain soft, flexible and adaptable in order to flourish. This is not the year for stubbornness and rigidity but instead work to expand thinking outside of the norm.

According to one of many myths, the Jade Emperor held a race and decreed that the order of the animals in the Chinese zodiac would be decided by who crossed the finish line in the first 12 places. One would assume that the mighty Dragon would reach the emperor first, however that was not to be. The Dragon came after the Rabbit, Tiger, Ox, and Rat.

When Dragon was on the way to the finish line they saw a village threatened by a flood. Dragon stopped without hesitation and opened wide their mouth to absorb the water. There was a neighboring village suffering from a very serious drought — even its plants and crops did not grow, and a great number of people were in famine. Dragon flew over and opened their mouth again, this time making rain and solving the village’s hardship.

So, by generously helping those suffering along the way, as is their nature, Dragon came in 5th place in the zodiac race.

As we begin our transition from the 2022 Fire Tiger into the upcoming 2023 Water Rabbit, Turtle Dragon wishes you a healthy, prosperous and peaceful New Year. As the Tiger was ferocious, so the Rabbit may bring a gentler time for us.

Traditionally this is a time for cleaning, preparing good healthy foods, getting a good luck haircut and taking care of yourself. While we here at Turtle Dragon may not be able to provide a haircut, we're always happy to facilitate and support you with your health and wellness goals.

What is the quality of your relationship?

上善若水。
水善利萬物而不爭，
處衆人之所惡，

The highest virtue is like water.
