This is a little long, but here is the latest takeaway regarding during this pandemic. Watch the video if you have time.
Important new highlights for the tl:dr crowd:
1- Eating high fructose corn syrup (not fruit) deactivates vitamin d in your body to the inactive form making it useless even if you have it at adequate levels.
2 - Treating people who already have covid with a more processed version of vitamin d is improving survival chances greatly.
3 - If you are obese which for this video is defined as more than 30% over your ideal weight for height, you may need to take 1.5-3x the normal amount I get caught up. I certainly knew about extra adipose tissue being an issue and often urged my heavier clients to take 5000 IU -10k IU daily but even this is not enough. The author of the video takes 5000 IU but is normal weight, light skinned and lives in southern California. He is suggesting if you are very overweight to start with 10-15k IU. Again you need to have your levels measured at least 1x a year to make sure you aren't taking too much.

Professor Roger Seheult, MD explains the important role Vitamin D may have in the prevention and treatment of COVID-19. Dr. Seheult illustrates how Vitamin ...

Just giving an update on in-office acupuncture services. We haven't opened the physical office on St. Elmo as of yet, but we fully intend to as soon as it can be done safely. Until then, don't hesitate to reach out to us by phone for your herbal delivery or phone consultation needs. Thank you for standing by us and supporting us all the way!

As of today no more clients can be seen in the office because of shelter-in-place orders. I can still give herbal advice by phone and mail herbs if necessary. We appreciate your business and hope to start up again real soon! Thank you!

Just as a friendly reminder to clients our office will still remain open for appointments at our regular hours. Please stay home or go to the doctor if you show cold/flu symptoms of fever and cough just to be on the safe side. If you are in need of herbal medicine, I can interact with you on the phone or by email and set you up with an herbal prescription you can get by mail. No need to come into the office.

Here is how to make your own DIY with ingredients you probably already have at the house. The most important ingredient is high enough proof alcohol.

No Purell? No problem! When disinfecting gel sells out everywhere, you can just make some yourself with stuff you (maybe) already have at home.
