This is a 38 year old female who is 4’8″ and 103 pounds with one child who presented to me for a breast enhancement. The combination of time, her child and a forty pound weight loss affected her breasts. She liked the size but not the shape of sagginess of her breasts.

She is seen here after a bilateral breast lift with implants procedure. Dr. C used 250cc high profile silicone implants beneath the muscle through a vertical “lift” approach and removed about 100 grams of dense breast tissue from each side.

There is an impressive difference at one year out from her procedure. Her breasts are up, perky and firmer and the shape has improved!

Only after having performed for 3 decades do I consider myself a reputable surgeon for this critical undertaking. Check out this amazing before and after transformation here at Westlake Plastic Surgery. It is one of my favorite procedures to perform.
The goal was to reduce her dorsal hump and to adjust her tip projection adequately and refine the tip.

She is seen here and in the video (link in bio) 6 weeks after her surgery. It is evident that she now has a nice, straight dorsum with a tip that is higher than the dorsum. The tip of her nose is still swollen as it is only 6 weeks out. This swelling will take up to two years to completely subside.
The most exciting part to her of her new nose is her profile - no more hump and no more downward facing tip!

This patient is shown after a breast augmentation - at 7 weeks so continued softening and settling will occur.

Important notes:
Once her breasts have settled and dropped to their ideal level, it’s imperative that she keep them at that level by wearing a working bra to keep them slightly higher (up and in) so the pocket doesn’t keep expanding in unwanted directions.

This patient had a moderate plus size wide nose and a very significant osseous component to her osteocartilaginous vault. She also had wide tip diverging points with a deviation of the mid body of the septum to the right side, moderate turbinate hypertrophy, asymmetrical lower lateral cartilages, and significant thickening of the skin from the key stone area to the tip.

This patient had a previous breast augmentation and breast lift done around the ar**la elsewhere and desired a revision with smaller breasts and improved shape. She wanted perkier breasts that are not so saggy.

Dr. Caridi removed her existing silicone implants above the muscle. One of them was ruptured. He adjusted the pockets so her new implants will sit up front and not to the side. He also did a bilateral breast reduction of about 150 grams each side and 250cc silicone implants in the same pocket

This is a long-term result. Our goals have been achieved and her result is quite nice in part because she wears a supportive bra. Her breasts are smaller, higher and perkier than before. Her scars have done well 🙌

This patient is an excellent example of a “routine” type rhinoplasty. She had the typical nose hump and a wide tip complex and a wide nose at the base. Her nose didn’t fit her face in an ideal balanced proportion.

With this patient, Dr. C reduced the hump, refined the tip and narrowed the nose in general.

The after images showcase a balanced and normal nose and that does not bring “extra or unneeded” attention to it🙌

Have a look at these incredible BAR procedure before and afters, 4 months post-op!🤩

Case Details👇

This patient is seen about 4 months after a breast augmentation and reduction, which is a more refined alternative to the breast lift with implants procedure. She has 350cc high profile silicone implants below the muscle with a 60 gram breast tissue reduction from the bottom (saggy) part of the breast.

The final scar is lollipop shaped. She has some mild asymmetries and a skin fold at the bottom of the right breast. Dr. C plans on removing this skin in the near future.

The benefit of this procedure is superior breast fullness, higher breasts and an overall “lift” that is unmatched by any other procedure🎉

Take a look at another example of a natural looking rhinoplasty result that compliments and enhances this patients facial features without looking odd or surgical🤩🤩🤩

It is important to note that this patient is VERY early from rhinoplasty treatment- only several weeks. The nose takes quite some time to settle after surgery and a nose job recovery can take months or years.

With this patient, Dr. Caridi reduced her hump and refined her tip and made internal adjustment to the bone and cartilages of her nose that is typical. We are early with these photos so the swelling is substantial and we are not able to fully appreciate the changes.

This patient is seen here after a bilateral breast reduction and breast augmentation with free ni**le grafts. The scar is anchor shaped. The implants are 650cc high profile smooth walled silicone below the muscle. I removed 950 grams of breast tissue from each side.

As you can see, this patient had low hanging breasts, so Dr. Caridi made the breasts smaller by removing a combination of excess skin, fat and breast tissue. Low lying ni**les were lifted to a position higher on the breast, and the whole breast is reshaped to a smaller, perkier, more comfortable size.

This patient had mature, attractive breasts that had fallen from where they were pre kids. She was interested in maintaining her size but shifting her breasts upwards with an improved shape. Superior breast fullness is desired.

With this patient Dr. C performed a Breast Augmentation and Reduction (BAR) procedure – with a 90 gram reduction on both sides and the placement of 385cc high profile textured implants beneath the muscle.

You can use the arrows on the photos as a reference to compare the new and old breasts. You can appreciate that the bottom of the old breast is much higher on her thorax, and the upper part is much higher as well. The entire breast has shifted “North” for sure which make it look perkier and less matronly and heavy.

This is different from a breast lift with breast implant because saggy tissue is not lifted it is reduced/removed. This tissue that isn’t there cannot sag in the future simply because it isn’t present. The new breast is made from the choice of breast implant that will determine your size and shape to some degree.

Case details:👇
I reduced about 285 grams of tissue on either side. I used 300cc high profile breast implants placed below the muscle. Her breasts are slightly asymmetrical. They are much higher, rounder, perkier and youthful. She has lost a significant amount of weight since her procedure.

🙌She couldn’t be happier🎉

This patient had the typical fullness up front with puffy ni**les. He had some lateral fullness in Zones 2-3 as well.

You can see how transformative his results are even just 1 day post surgery💪

✅We manage the healing process by using compression garments, massaging the tissues, rolling the skin with a pizza like roller and occasionally using steroids to help things along.

✅Using excellent posture is a very important behavior to ensure you look tall and proud but it also helps the skin to recover. If you have creases or wrinkles in your skin you will work this out over time so it’s as smooth as possible.

Rebecca has worked in rehab nursing as well as Alzheimer’s and dementia care. She assists in all aspects of our office, including consultations, circulating in the OR, and assisting in the recovery process from start to finish.

i had surgery for mild gyno done by caridi 10 months ago with an awful result

1. the preop assessment was inadequate. he spent one minute with me, did not examine me and did not explain the surgery/consent.

2. the surgery was done poorly, rushed and incomplete with a bad result - very uneven and lopsided. he did excessive lipo on the right side [in fact he removed all the normal fat along the right edge of the pec] and much less on the left side. he removed part of my right pec muscle fascia resulting in permanent deformity - a large divot next to the pec and deltoid.. this has left me with a significant asymmetry postop. the right side is a lot smaller now. he misused the vaser and caused second degree burns. this has left me with significant skin scaring, discoloration and burning pain. i now have to take neurontin to sleep. this is permanant irreversible damage. when i showed the second degree burns to the nurse post op - maria , i was advised this was normal

3. i found post op communication with lacey and caridi deceptive, evasive, misleading and dishonest. initially he said the result was incredible. after three months, he acknowledged the asymmetry but said that this was swelling and fluid, which should settle with six months massage. he has not provided any proper and truthful explanation for any of these complications. NO answers to specific questions as to WHY uneven and lopsided? he said that the problem was my expectation ?? i had mild gyno and postoperation i am now left with a small and deformed right chest

he said that this has never happened before. he has stopped responding to emails asking further for advice and postop management for the ongoing worsening scar and tissue defect. he has effectively abandoned postop follow up

4. i have sought a second opinion from a local surgeon who has confirmed that i have a vaser burns contraction and dysthetic nerve damage from negligent use of the vaser. the scar tissue on the right is worsening as is the bad burning pain. he explained that these complications are due to over resection of normal tiissue, a result of poorly planned surgery. the liposuction was not done equally on both sides. the sternal and axilla edge, and the delto-pec groove has been aggressively resected on the right BUT not addressed on the left side. he was unable to explain why there is a big divot next to my right axilla and deltoiid muscle, and he told me that he could not understand why this area was subjected to liposuction on one side but not the other side!

5. in summary, i have had a disastrous result. in my case, caridi has done bad, lopsided surgery [my right chest is now flat and collapsed] and then tried a cover up by trying to tell me that the result is excellent. the manner in which he has conducted and abbrogated all follow up demonstrates a total lack of professional standards.

i have submitted a complaint to the texas medical board about my experience [including corroborating evdence - sequence photos and emails, second opinion]

6. i also want to point out that the caridi website is very misleading:

1. the vaser causes more severe scar formation than
conventional lipo. this fact was explained to me by
other surgeons. furthermore, the vaser causes damage to
the pec muscle and fascia when abused. the muscle is
flattened and no longer moves naturrally

2. all the website photos are early post op. there is no
reference to the severe scar formation that will evolve over
the next six months - burns contraction and skin damage,
sunken divots, tethering on animation, none of this is
covered in the preop consent and discussion, and this
outcome is very real. there are no photos showing this

3. in my experience, the preop assessment and post op
follow up fell well short of an acceptable standard of care
Hi! I just saw your youtube video of a woman's saline breast implants being removed under local anesthesia. I'm really afraid of undergoing general anesthesia again (I have psychiatric disorders that make me prone to fears and anxieties) and yet, would like to someday have my own saline breast implants removed. My implants are under the muscle and I've probably had them about 15 years with no problems. I am 40 years old. Would it sometimes be possible for someone with under the muscle saline implants like me, to have them removed under local anesthesia? You could reduce my anxieties a lot with this answer! Thank you!
