Audrey once helped design a Sea Lion Diorama for the Texas State Aquarium during a summer course in college that won “Best Animal habitat” which got her featured on YouTube.

Jaret competes in Powerlifting competitions!

I keep seeing this reel the past few months… and every time I get emotional. I realize now it’s because I’m always curious and never judgmental, but yet I feel insecure because I personally identify with the character of being judged instead of curiously questioned. It hits hard because I know that this is what patients fear/feel and yet I think/strive for everyone that I see, understands my questions are of curiosity to solve the issues and not of judgemental origin . I got you!!
Aka: I care. I don’t judge. Be curious. Be you. Be true. And always be kind ❤️

Summer 2024-AGK

It’s been awhile since I posted and that’s a good thing. I’ve been trying to focus on life in front of me and not social media. Man that’s hard. But my gosh it’s beautiful. Colors are more vibrant, moments are more real, and simple things like time spent ‘scrolling’ for sharks teeth on the beach are more fulfilling. I love you all and I wish I could post daily because that’s how often I think of you. Here’s to each of us spending a moment to wish for in 2024 🙏❤️🤗

Yay!!! We love Natalie!! I am so blessed to work with such an amazing person!!!

Natalie Carreras joined Dr. Uribe’s team at Austin Area OB/GYN and Fertility in 2015. As a Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse Midwife she provides expert, patient focused care for women seeking gynecological care ranging from routine annual exams, birth control consults, pre-natal and obstetrics services to hormone replacement. Natalie believes in ensuring each patient’s needs are met in order to optimize their healthcare experience and overall wellbeing.

Natalie received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Emory University in 2005. Upon graduation, she accepted a job as a registered nurse in labor and delivery at Emory University Hospital Midtown where she started her career in women’s health. In 2008, Natalie graduated from Emory University with a Master of Science as a Certified Nurse Midwife and Family Nurse Practitioner. Natalie then accepted a job with a wonderful practice in Atlanta working with 4 physicians and 4 midwives where she provided prenatal care, birth control, hormone replacement therapy and routine gynecological care for women of all ages. In 2013, Natalie and her family relocated to Austin.

Natalie spends her free time with her three beautiful children and her loving husband. She loves to read, spend time outdoors either running or hiking, and try new recipes, especially baking.

👱🏻‍♀️Well it’s been 1️⃣0️⃣years since I posted and ranted about my frustrations when dealing with insurance companies to fight for my patients (aka their customer). Sadly I’d say this scenario still occurs regularly… different day, different medication, different patient… but same story 😔
However on the positive side: the medication in this post is now more widely covered by most insurance plans!
I will continue to fight for my patients and I won’t quit. I will keep fighting for a better healthcare.
