Meet The Fall Interns:
My name is Sydney Sweet, I am currently finishing my Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Sciences with a focus in Early Childhood at The University of Texas at Austin. After graduation, I plan on taking a gap year to focus on studying for the MCAT, while obtaining as much clinical experience as possible. My interests include working with young children and offering guidance in any way possible that provides a positive impact to their development. I am also passionate about educating the Hispanic community on the importance of women's health and providing meaningful childcare to low-income families. I have previously worked at The University of Texas at Austin Child Development Center, where I facilitated educational and recreational activities, and supported lead teachers with curriculum implementation and lesson plans. When I am not at school or work, I can be found providing reliable childcare services for multiple families in the Austin area.
