Eye Institute of Austin is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for our employees and our patients. As such, we are closely monitoring the ongoing COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak according to the guidelines and recommendations of the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention). We want to share with you the actions we are taking to help protect our employees and patients.
We’ve advised our employees to follow the public health authorities' guidance regarding hygiene and personal travel, and we’ve reinforced existing Eye Institute of Austin policy encouraging employees who exhibit flu-like symptoms to stay home and consult with a medical professional.

We are taking every precaution to continuously sanitize and follow the appropriate measures to keep our employees and patients safe. We are also enforcing a temperature check before entering into our office as well. If any patients have experienced any symptoms or have traveled outside the US in the past 14 days, then we are asking our patients to reschedule their appointment for a later date.

We appreciate the trust that you place with Eye Institute of Austin. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and take actions necessary to help keep our employees and patients safe while providing the proper eye care services you need.
