Andean shamanism is based on improving your perception and developing your personal power. Not about fighting spirits…. It’s for resilience. For efficacy. For connection. When you work it on the inside you have a different outside experience. We are not victims here, we are co-creators.

Our environment shapes our cultural perspective… these teachings come to us from the tops of the mountains where your resources are in Nature and your ability to connect to the Creative Force, directly. Hi Folks,

I’ve been on this path of self development and healing from freeze based trauma for a very long time. I’ve tried many things, from science, psychology and pharma to yoga and shamanism…
I’m sure most of you have been on similar journeys. All of those paths offered teachings and practices that are now a part of our medicine.

The path I stay with, because of its elegant complexity and grounded simplicity, is the traditional path of Andean Mysticism, the path of the paqo, or healer/shaman/priest.

It is a path of heart that gives me allies and exercises to move through the most challenging of times.

There are over 30 energy practices in the traditional training. They align us with nature beings like the Earth and the Sun, the Waters and the Wind, in a tangible every day way. They teaches us how to be better humans and how to see differences in people without moving to change them.

Most importantly, they help us connect to a sense of self that we can rely on, reinforcing our sovereignty by helping us better hear our own authority.

These teachings come to us from the tops of the mountains, from an ancient culture now rapidly changing. Taking these trainings anchors us into the place of timelessness that they came from… where we remember that everything is connected. And in that we remember how to live in kindness and reciprocity.

Let’s talk about coherence.

In the Andean tradition we have a field of energy surrounding our body that is a physical manifestation, if you will, of our psyche, our mind, or our soul. It’s an energetic substrate not just a concept. We also have an energetic seed within that body that is our divine self, our spirit, our will… our very essence. That seed must reckon with the needs of the body and the dynamic quality of the wiley mind, in order to fully express itself. We cannot effectively engage from our divinity, or higher self until we find coherence between all three.

When we cannot summon our worth and will and put them together, in gear… when we cannot engage well with the world or even with others… it is because we are in these disparate pieces that are working against each other. We are discordant. Our need to protect, for example, undermines our need to connect. Our impulsiveness undermines our waiting for the right time…

In the Andean tradition of energy medicine we want to restore coherence within, and we start energetically… through creating congruence between the seed/spirit, the body and the soul/mind.

Because it is an energetically based medicine we start by bringing coherence to the field, the mind, the psyche… the soul. That means bringing up all our parts and bringing them together in cohesion, as a working team, rather than letting them bang around against each other like popping corn… in some form of disarray. When the popping stops the seed can then shine through, and in that brings peace to the body.

Healing doesn’t happen because you tell it to… it happens when you let yourself see yourself, feel yourself, when you let yourself in and then bring love to all those dark places.

Healing is finding the congruence and in that coherence.
