Honoring Our Veterans, Today & Every Day

At Beacon Hospice, we are proud to participate in the We Honor Veterans program, ensuring every veteran in our care is recognized, respected, and celebrated for their service.
Our teams across the country spent Veterans Day visiting patients, delivering special tributes, and saying a heartfelt thank you to the men and women who have served our country. 💙❤️🤍
Here are just a few moments our staff shared while out honoring our veterans today, a reminder of the gratitude that guides everything we do.

In the spirit of celebrating the extraordinary qualities that reside within our team, we proudly introduce the "Next Step Recognition Award." This award serves as a testament to the unsung heroes among us, nominated by their peers, whose daily actions embody selflessness, empathy, caring, sympathy, tenderness, and so much more. These remarkable individuals inspire us not in pursuit of recognition but simply because that is who they are.

Today, we recognize ShaRon Loukanis, a Volunteer Coordinator, at Harbor Hospice of Central Houston. Please take a moment to read what her coworkers are saying!

Kind words from a fellow coworker:
ShaRon takes her job very seriously and dedicates all her time to increasing active volunteers and supporting the team in Central Houston. She engages with the team daily and improves morale with her efforts. She coordinates events and involves as many people as she can, including marketing efforts at multiple facilities.
