She believes that healing body, mind, and spirit allows one to achieve his or her potential. Dr. Scott practices compassionate listening. She advocates using a comprehensive approach to healing, including nutrition, exercise, meditation, therapy, and medication when needed. Her clinical interests include using an integrative approach to the evaluation and treatment of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, school problems, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and autism in children, adolescents, and young adults. She is a graduate of UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. She served as chief fellow at Scott and White/Texas A&M Medical School in Temple, Texas. Dr. Scott was a recipient of the American Psychiatric Association and Astra Zeneca Fellowship Award. She was the principal investigator on a study about ADHD, published in the Journal of Child and Adolescent Psychopharmacology. She serves on the executive committee of the Texas Society of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
