Today and Friday are sad days for me and my company Happy Karma H**p.
September would have marked TWO FULL years in our current Brick & Mortar Boutique. It was my very first retail store after doing markets every weekend on South Congress for THEE YEARS!
My, how I’ve grown and learned! Every step along the way, I have been taught lessons on how to run a store, stocking/inventory, how many of my own products I had to manufacture at a time to stay in stock longer, communicating with different kinds of people including training employees and becoming painfully aware that not everyone will always understand me…and that’s ok.
I’ve been honored to meet AMAZING people, and help them with their wellness. They all taught me something in return.
I am grateful to Shannon at the for creating a perfect space to be the home of my first shop. Big thank you to the SN employees who were so kind and helpful. I love you guys. ( & )It was a pleasure to have my plant “medicine” surrounded by loving plantie 🪴 energy.
We are still in the process of finding a new home to move our little wellness boutique into, so please follow or continue following **p to be the first to know where we will land.
I am beyond humbled and full of gratitude. Excited for the next chapter of Happy Karma H**p, whatever it may be.

I had an absolute blast meeting so many amazing people at the Big Ole Q***r Market in Austin yesterday. It was a diverse crowd of LGBTQIA+ and allies.
Every single time I do a market or are in my store, I spray myself with my GROUNDED™️ Spray and set an intention that all of the kindest people, that need something I can help with, come to my booth. And voila, I meet the absolute best people and leave feeling confident that I have helped educate and start them on a path to wellness. I call this “Creating Happy Karma”.

When there’s a sense of urgency tied to anything important in your life, slow down. Ask yourself - what would happen if I let go a little bit and let this unfold on a timeline out of my control? What is the rush? Is there a fear or a wound driving me? Am I operating out of fear, or out of trust?
Deep breaths. Nature has her own timelines, and if we live in accordance to this truth, all that's left is surrender.
We may be operating out of fear when we're in a hurry for no reason, when we're feeling a sense of urgency tied to any important thing in our life - a relationship, an accomplishment, a goal.
The medicine is in slowing down and letting go of control so the real magic can unfold.
If you have to force something, or feel that it's slipping away unless you anxiously grasp it or cling tightly, consider that it isn't meant to be yours.
You will never truly be alone, you are deeply loved and held by spirit and the elements.
May you find safety in your surroundings and within your own heart today friend.

How do you convert energy to what you want?
“Attracting more positive energy to reach your goals starts with yourself. When you have positive thoughts, beliefs and feelings, this is automatically picked up by your environment. If you constantly think of the worst, if you do not believe that you can ever achieve something, if you do not believe that someone can be good, if you constantly complain, if you always see the negativity in situations, if you regularly put others down, if you are a negative person, you will develop negative energy and in the end you will only attract more negative situations in your life. The way you see things and start by eliminating negative thoughts and negative beliefs will help you change your energy so that you start to attract what you want. This means that you focus on positive situations, understand that things will work, are looking for solutions instead of complaining, have more understanding instead of getting angry, try to look at things from a different perspective, embrace change, seek out to opportunities instead of problems and no longer believe that the worst will happen. In the beginning this will not be easy, but because you constantly change the way you think and see things, you will naturally attract more positive situations in your life.”

YAY!!! Today is our 5th birthday. So exciting. And man, sooo much has changed since we formulated our own products in 2017 and opened in 2018! Federal AND State regulation came AFTER us. 🤯
We’ve won many Texas H**p Awards, we’re nominated, blind judged and made the finals of the World CBD Awards and this year won Best of the Best Austin American-Statesman Awards! But with all of that aside, we have gotten to personally hear individual stories of how products we handcraft, legitimately help people. THIS is beyond amazing to us; Like being part of thousands of little miracles every day! Grateful doesn’t even begin to describe how we feel!

March 1st is Happy Karma H**p’s 4th Birthday! Yaaaay! We were the first Austin-based, women-owned AND Crafted CBD + Wellness Company and wow, has a lot happened in 4 loooong/short years! As owner/founder of Happy Karma H**p, I (@ladylaran ) began formulating my proprietary products in November of 2017, before H**p was even Federally or Texas legal. It was the only way I could make something that really worked, tasted/felt/smelled AHHMazing AND allowed me to vet my ingredient sources to make sure they were ethical, sustainable (or regeneratively-farmed) Organic and cruelty-free! Y’all, there were so many times I felt I was being “divinely-led” and wasn’t even in control of the wheel myself. I was running in blind-faith and trusting the spirit guides leading me to research and find what was going to help me help others in a unique way. It has been a pretty amazing journey so far and I am deeply humbled by all of the stories of how products I created are helping them in mind-blowing ways. Of COURSE it didn’t all come from me, there was a higher power in control. 💚 (annnd my grandmother played a role in my salve, in a dream!!!)
