It has been a great week for our team in Denver.
We're proud to be representing Roots Behavioral Health at the MAPS Science Summit. As leaders in the behavioral healthcare industry, we intend to elevate our field with innovation and bring novel FDA-approved psychedelic treatments to Austin so that we may offer them to our patients most in need.
Come see say hi to us at booth 532 if you’re around!
“For all the hype, psychedelics such as M**A or psilocybin won’t succeed as a treatment or service line without substantial clinical support within behavioral health organizations.
As recent ketamine-provider stumbles demonstrate, simply establishing access to and attempting to scale singular forms of treatment tend to lead to failure. Further, such treatment-specific ventures fail to address the holistic nature of health and the fragmented reality of the American health care system.”
We could not agree more. At Roots, we devote ourselves to treating our patients from a holistic approach and highly train our staff to provide the safest and most sustainable treatments. When this innovative therapy is performed within the safety of a behavioral health facility, patients can more easily integrate their experiences into their every day lives.

Meet our Team!
This is Lauren, but you can call her Lo :). She’s originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and has been with us for almost 4 years as a PA-C at our downtown clinic.
When asked what her favorite thing about working at RBH was, she said "There is a lot of fear associated with getting mental health support so being able to alleviate any part of that is so rewarding. I'm passionate about motivational interviewing which involves genuine connection with patients, understanding patients' core values, respecting their autonomy and collaborating with them to best meet their needs. It's so fulfilling to watch patients flourish as they embark on this journey."
According to Lo, she is sewing obsessed! In her spare time, she loves knitting and embroidery as well. A water bug, she's always finding new places to swim. She also loves traveling, playing board games, and spending time with her family.
Thanks Lo, and thank you to all of our staff members who make this possible.
Our team is always working towards innovation, accessibility and affordability.

Meet our Team!
This is Sara, and she is a PA-C at our downtown location. Sara is originally from New Jersey and has been with us for almost 4 years.
Like us, Sara believes that mental and emotional health are equally important as physical health. The best and most rewarding part of working at RBH for her is when our patients tell her that they have improved in various facets of their lives.
When she's not working on improving the lives of others, Sara loves working out, reading, and discovering new coffee shops.
Thank you to our amazing staff for bringing your best and making Roots what is is today 😊.

Millions of people suffer from chronic depression, and it can feel like there’s no way out. But it doesn’t have to be this way. Call us to learn how we can help.
“Medically supervised ketamine infusion therapy has been found to reactivate existing connections and to grow new ones, helping the brain to “shake loose” negative thoughts and shift out of depression. Because the brain has actually been “reshaped,” it may explain why antidepressant medications that didn’t work in the past, may help after ketamine therapy.”

The better your brain health, the better your chances to reduce how much medication you take. Our special assessment can be scheduled after an initial evaluation or can be scheduled for established patients.

This is Siarra, she’s originally from Portville, NY and has been with us for a little over 7 months.
