Hey there! I'm Chris, the founder of AdaptivEase, and I've got a passion for making homes safer and more accessible for everyone. Let me tell you a bit about my journey and why I started this company. For over 15 years, I've been knee-deep in the world of home modifications, helping thousands of folks make their spaces more livable.
It all started back in 2009 when I co-founded a small construction company which ultimately found success performing minor home modifications. A couple years later, in 20011 I founded BuildSpective Access & Mobility. We specialize in creating custom solutions for people who need a little extra help getting around their homes. From ramps to bathroom renovations and thousands of home modification projects under our belt, we've seen and done it all!
But here's the thing - I noticed that not everyone needed a full-blown home makeover. Sometimes, a simple, easy-to-install product could make a world of difference. That's when the lightbulb went off, and AdaptivEase was born.
At AdaptivEase, we're all about keeping things simple, safe, and functional. We've handpicked a range of DIY mobility products that anyone can install without breaking a sweat (or calling in a construction crew). Whether it's a threshold ramp, a easy to install security pole, or a nifty gadget to help with daily tasks, we've got you covered.
My background's a bit of a mixed bag - I've worn many hats over the years, from being a tech guru at a large computer manufacturer to running a sleep diagnostics lab. But it's this diverse experience that's helped me understand what people really need when it comes to home mobility solutions.
I'm not just the guy behind the website - I'm also a Certified Home Assessment and Modification Professional (C.H.A.M.P.) and a Certified Environmental Access Consultant (C.E.A.C.). Fancy titles aside, what this really means is that I know my stuff when it comes to making homes safer and more accessible. At the end of the day, what drives me is seeing the peace of mind our products bring to families and caregivers. There's nothing quite like knowing you've helped someone stay independent in their own home or given a family member one less thing to worry about.
So, whether you're looking to make your own home a bit safer or you're helping out a loved one, I'm here to help. Let's work together to make every home a place where everyone can move freely and safely.
Welcome to the AdaptivEase family! -Chris
