Here's the description of the class:
Ever wonder what body-awareness means, or about the connection between your physical symptoms and your thoughts? Are you able to listen to your body when it sends you signals? Do you wonder how enhancing your body awareness is related to self-compassion at all?
In this workshop, we will discuss and explore the relationship between body awareness & how mindful curiosity is part of self-compassion work. It will also include a guided, sensory meditation and guided gentle movement practices that can be incorporated into everyday routines. There will also be an opportunity for group sharing & discussion.
In a time when we're being told not to touch our faces, I decided it was important to teach an exploratory lesson on the jaw and face!
Self-soothing is so important for relaxation during these stressful times and we all need more tools to gently check in with ourselves and feel present!
