Kadampa Meditation Center Austin offers meditation classes and Modern Buddhism study programs in Austin and the surrounding areas. You do not need to be a Buddhist to attend the classes, or to benefit from the techniques taught. You can drop-in whenever you wish. The classes are easy to follow and do not need prior knowledge or experience. You don't need to bring anything but yourself! Drop in anytime ! The Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is part of the New Kadampa Tradition-International Kadampa Buddhist Union, founded by world renowned meditation master, teacher and author, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.

Life can sometimes feel chaotic and overwhelming with the endless flow of responsibilities, uncertainties, information, and conflict in our world. Buddha’s Lojong (Training the Mind) teachings show us how to transform challenges into the path, helping us find meaning, resilience, and inner peace in daily life.

This series of classes taught by Noreen Flack, Resident Teacher at KMC Austin, will introduce several methods for keeping our inner peace even when life’s challenges present themselves. $12pp/$6 students & seniors. Everyone welcome!
