The Collinfield House Collinfield House is dedicated to providing unparalleled Assisted Living care to the aging in Austin, Texas. Our community is not just our residents!

The Collinfield House provides excellent care and companionship for our residents, filling each day with meaningful and engaging activities, delicious home cooked meals, and one-on-one assistance with daily living tasks. With our low ratio, caregivers have time to sit and have engaging conversations with residents. Being physical therapist-owned, it is our goal to challenge the residents daily in an effort to maintain as much independence as possible. We understand that care and attention is critical, which is why we have a full-time administrator, an activities director, and 24-hour awake and alert staff for this exclusive eight-resident home. Family is a big part of who we are and we involve resident families near and far with the facilitation of Facetime or Google Meets with family/friends, and, social media updates and pictures. Once COVID restrictions allow, we look forward to welcoming all family members. At this time, we offer Essential Caregiver visits per Health and Human Services guidelines. Extended families become a network of support, encouragement and friendship.

“We had my dad and step-mom in another facility with all the apparent bells and whistles you could ask for; however, the caregivers seemed overwhelmed and understaffed. The care my father received appeared to be subpar and his health declined. Frankly, we were concerned about their safety.
Fortunately, we found Collinfield House and he received one on one care, the caregivers talk to them and get to know their quirks and understand their needs. These folks do a difficult job with such grace, it is remarkable to witness.

We have morning exercise 5-6 days weekly, along with a Garden Club, Book Club and a full activities calendar. We understand that care and attention is critical, which is why we have a full-time administrator, an activities director, and 24-hour awake and alert staff for this exclusive seven-resident home. Our community is not just our residents! Family is a big part of who we are and we involve resident families near and far with a monthly e-newsletter, social media updates and pictures, and monthly family gatherings. Extended families become a network of support, encouragement and friendship.
