Austin legend Joe Ely…,may he rest in heavenly peace.

Legendary songwriter, singer, and raconteur Joe Ely died today from complications of Lewy Body Dementia, Parkinson’s and pneumonia. His beloved wife Sharon and daughter Marie were at his side at their home in Taos, New Mexico. Ely was born February 9, 1947 in Amarillo, Texas. He was a leader of the extraordinary parade of artists raised in Lubbock who later settled in the live music capital of Austin. Ely signed with MCA Records in the 1970s and spent more than five decades recording and performing around the world. A full obituary and more information will follow in the coming days.

𝕄𝔸𝕍𝔼ℝ𝕀ℂ𝕂, is very sad today that another fellow “Maverick” has been lifted up to heaven, of the fab band .
Austin has been so blessed with his talent, and his music will live on in our hearts and on our stereos.
𝕄𝕒𝕧𝕖𝕣𝕚𝕔𝕜 has some pretty good pipes too and wanted to share his song and let you know Santa Paws is coming to town and that we are all lifting up Raul in prayer and song🎄❤️

Last but not least in our dental family pets series, is 𝔻𝕆𝕃𝕃𝕐! 🌸

Dolly belongs to Dr. VW & family and is the sweetest yet spiciest lil girl. She’s a Mini Bernedoodle with a heart of gold, especially with lils. Her favorite hobbies are daily walks, squirrel chasing and being a sous chef. Dolly is a flirt, loves attention and will shmooze you with her big brown eyes and cute long eyelashes🌸 plus she’s very vocal.
