The American College of Gastroenterology assembled a multidisciplinary task force to develop consensus-based recommendations for the responsible integration of AI in gastroenterology, hepatology, and endoscopy.

TSGE Member Spotlight: Waqar Qureshi, MD, FRCP, FASGE, FACG, is your TSGE President-Elect and a longtime TSGE member and leader. Dr. Qureshi is a Professor of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine.

A dedicated educator and leader in higher education, Dr. Qureshi has extensive experience in patient care, clinical research, and the training of residents and fellows.

He has pioneered gastroenterology training in the United States on the management of anorectal disease and authored the first textbook focused on anorectal disease management for gastroenterologists.
