At our annual meeting, we were thrilled to award the TSGE Grant to Dr. Jianyi Yin of UT Southwestern Medical Center!

Dr. Yin received $10,000 to support his research on "Discovering Novel Predictors of Therapy Response in Acute Severe Ulcerative Colitis."

We can’t wait to hear his findings at the 2026 Annual Conference. Congratulations, Dr. Yin, on this well-deserved recognition!

At the annual conference, TSGE member Dr. Bruce Gibson was awarded the Marcel Patterson – Robert Nelson Award 🏆

The award is named after TSGE’s two founding members and is presented to a physician who embodies the spirit of these two gentlemen – that is, someone who has made significant contributions to the field of gastroenterology.

We're proud to acknowledge Dr. Gibson's commitment to the TSGE and our field. 👏
