If you would like to speak to a counselor trained in issues related to relationship violence, sexual violence and stalking, call the UT Counseling and Mental Health Center (CMHC) at 471-3515, Mon-Fri. from 8am-5pm and request a "VAV appointment" when scheduling. If you need to see someone immediately, please come to CMHC (5th floor of the SSB) and ask to see a Crisis Counselor. No appointment is necessary. If you would like to speak to someone over the phone confidentially and anonymously, please call the CMHC Crisis Line at 512-471-CALL (2255) (UT Students Only). Available 24/7/365. If you would like to schedule a Theatre for Dialogue Performance, or speak with someone about becoming a VAV Peer Educator, please contact Shavonne Coleman at scoleman@austin.utexas.edu. Want to schedule a training for your organization, class or staff? VAV tailors our trainings to meet the needs of different campus groups. We require a minimum of 45 minutes.
