Immediate implants are becoming one of my favorite procedures. Often the best time to insert an implant is at the same time as tooth extraction, provided there is adequate bone remaining. In this case, we were able to take out the tooth with minimal bone loss, preserving the beautiful interseptal bone. Implant was inserted with greater than 35NcM of torque and an ISQ value of 69. Final Xray is prior to adding bone graft circumferential to the implant. Patient will be able to get her tooth restored in less than 3 months from now! Happy Thursday Friday!

Immediate implants from start to finish! This long time patient came in with two unrestorable teeth on the lower left quadrant. We were able to gently remove the roots, add bone, and place implants in the same appointment. After three months of healing, we restored the implants with screw-retained crowns. We’re very fortunate to have the most advanced dental technology available in our office =)

Before/After upper full mouth rehabilitation at an open vertical dimension. This patient presented with severe teeth wear due to years of clenching and grinding. She was ready to upgrade her smile and regain the teeth length she had lost. We prepared all the upper teeth in one long appointment and seated the crowns less than a week later. Full lowers to be seated next!

Surgical implant placement done in our office today in under an hour. Dental implants are often the best way to replace missing teeth. The procedure is quick and painless, but the results are for life!

Smile transformation completed this week! This patient presented with multiple missing teeth, broken teeth, and severely decayed teeth. He was ready to resolve his dental problems for good. We completed full mouth extractions under sleep sedation and grafted the sites with bone for future implants. We delivered immediate dentures that we had prepared prior to surgery. The “after” photo was taken at the 24-hour follow-up visit after surgery. The patient reported a pain level of only “2/10”, which we were all pleased about. He’s ecstatic about his smile transformation, and is looking forward to securing the dentures with implants in the future.

Big office upgrade! So excited to announce that we now have a 3D CBCT machine in our office! This incredible X-ray machine allows us to see the teeth and all oral structures in ultra high def 3D. This ensures utmost precision in diagnostics and allows for complex treatments (root canals, wisdom teeth extractions, and surgical implant placement) to be performed with the highest degree of accuracy. We’re so excited to be able to offer this state-of-the-art tech in house to our patients!

This was an interesting cracked tooth syndrome case. Patient came in with severe cold sensitivity and biting pain on her upper second molar. Exam revealed tooth crack starting on the distal of the tooth. Nerve was irreversibly irritated from the crack, hence a root canal/buildup/crown was recommended to eliminate the pain stemming from the nerve and a crown to brace the tooth to prevent further cracking. The intra-oral, mid-procedure photos illustrate how even a seemingly small crack often extends much deeper than initially detected. In this case, what seemed like a tiny superficial crack pre-operatively, turned out to extend all the way into the pulp chamber. Luckily, the tooth was still savable and we were able to complete the treatment same-day without issues. Had we waited much longer to initiate treatment , the tooth most likely would have fractured completely and would have needed to be extracted. Saving teeth is our passion!

Endodontics (I.e. root canal therapy) is such an important service and procedure. Teeth sometimes require root canal treatment due to nerve pain/inflammation and/or infection. My staff and I have spent many thousands of dollars and countless hours in additional continuing education training to be able to provide this amazing service in-house to our patients. At our office, we are often able to get patients out of pain same-day by removing the nerve from the inside of the roots (root canal therapy), thereby avoiding having to remove the tooth. We are capable of doing root canals on most teeth, including molars. Getting patients out of pain and saving teeth is our passion! These photos are of post-op X-rays of root canals we’ve done over the past month.
