Bento boxes are a great way to introduce small amounts of fruits and veggies into your child's lunch. Your child may not eat all of the food, but exposure to different foods is the best way to promote healthy choices.

As your children head back to school, please remember that we are here to help with vaccinations and sports physicals. Give us a call to schedule an appointment. We can also help print and sign any required AISD forms during the visit.

After 38 years of selfless service, we bid farewell to our beloved nurse, Barb, as she embarks on a well-deserved retirement. Wishing her a life filled with joy, happiness, and fulfillment as she spends more time with her loved ones and furry companions. Her wisdom and advice will be missed by many, but we wish her the very best in this new chapter of her life.

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden loss of our office manager, Bonnie. Her unexpected passing last month has left a void in our office and our hearts. Bonnie was a shining light at Austex Pediatrics, rising through the ranks to become a beloved and respected leader of our team. We know she touched the lives of many while working at our office as a medical assistant and then office manager and wanted to share with the community. “In the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. Our phones and internet are down! There is a spectrum outage. We are working on ways to keep in communication. The portal may be the best way if we can get our hotspots to keep our EMR going!

As nurse week comes to a close we would like to say a HUGE thank you to our wonderful nursing staff. Barb, Corina, Yaneli, and Priyal do their best everyday to make sure our patients are happy, comfortable, and taken care of.

You may only see them briefly but they really do keep our office running by taking care of tasks that go beyond checking patients in, in office labs, and vaccines. Any time you get an x-ray, lab order, or form filled out these wonderful women here are in the background making that happen!

We are so proud of our nurses and grateful to say they are a part of our team. Thank y'all for everything you do!
