! Last week, Derrick and Sarah were invited to attend and present at the New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce's August meeting, focused on organizations serving the Central Texas music community. We are currently working with Gruene Hall and other local entities to expand SIMS services into Comal County. We are excited to explore potential opportunities to further our reach and better serve the Central Texas music industry.

Alright, alright, alright, alright! 🤘

We were SO honored to be part of Austin FC’s Pride Month celebration this past weekend!

Our Director of Operations Conrádo Markel stepped in to be the Heartbeat of Austin, and our amazing friend and ambassador Nakia sang the anthem at Saturday’s game against the Houston Dynamo.

Verde listos! 💚

We’re honored to share that the SIMS Foundation has been awarded a grant from the Forever Austin Fund at Austin Community Foundation! 💙

This vital support will help us continue our mission championing the mental health and well-being of Austin’s music community—ensuring that musicians and music workers get the care and support they deserve.

We’re proud to be one of the 99 Central Texas nonprofits, and one of the 44 Health and Humanities nonprofits, to receive ACF’s historic $2.3 million investment 🥰

This investment will go directly toward:
➡️ Providing accessible mental health services
➡️ Supporting the emotional and psychological well-being of music professionals
➡️ Strengthening the heartbeat of Austin’s creative community

Thank you to ACF and the generous donors behind the 24 funds that made this possible. Your commitment to a more connected, inclusive Austin empowers us to keep doing this important work.
