πŸ’₯EXCITING NEWS! πŸ’₯

Our friends at Big Loud Texas have pledged a $5K match to our Restore the Rhythm campaign to support the provision of mental health services to the Central Texas music industry community!

Founded in 2023 by Miranda Lambert and Jon Randall in partnership with Big Loud Records, Big Loud Texas aims to identify, cultivate, and promote Texas musicians on a global scale.

They have already made a big impact in our city and state through their advocacy for local artists, and we are honored to partner with them to extend that impact to provide mental health care for industry professionals in need of care.

Help us unlock this gift by donating to our Restore the Rhythm campaign before midnight on 12/31! πŸ™

It's SIMS Saturday, and we want to give a big shout out to our friend Barb for her words of support. πŸ’™

In the final days of 2025, we are working hard to raise the funds needed to continue to support all of the music industry professionals in Central Texas who will need mental health and recovery services next year.

Access to care will only become more challenging in 2026, so we are calling on the community to step up and help! If you care about live music in Austin, this is for you.

Help SIMS support the emotional wellness of our music community through our Restore the Rhythm campaign now through Dec. 31, 2025!

For the past 30 years, the SIMS Foundation, through the generous support of friends like you, has provided more than 25,000 music industry professionals with access to mental healthcare and substance use recovery services.

With upcoming changes to healthcare access, we will all need to step up in an even bigger way to make sure that no one in our community loses the care they need to be well and thrive.

Check out our campaign, support if you can, and please share with others!

Many thanks to our Board Chair-extraordinaire Marissa Rivera for sharing her thoughts about the importance of mental health care services for our music industry friends. 🫢

As the founder of Ola Wellness, a psychotherapy and wellness collective serving LGBTQ+ and BIPOC professionals across Texas, Marissa brings a wealth of experience in the mental health space to the SIMS Board.

Check out what she has to say and help support our end of year Restore the Rhythm campaign so we can continue to provide mental health and substance use recovery services to our music community!
