🌸Your milk ducts have muscle memory🌸

Did you know your body actually remembers how to make milk after your first pregnancy? It does not have to start from scratch the second time around.

On the left, we have your first pregnancy. Your milk-making system is just getting started. The ducts are forming, expanding, and learning how to do the job.

On the right, your second pregnancy. Your body is like, “Oh yeah, I’ve done this before.” The ducts are already built, they know the flow, and they often activate sooner and more efficiently.

This is why second-time parents may notice their colostrum coming in earlier, more noticeable letdowns, or even leaking during pregnancy. The body builds on what it learned before, making each new breastfeeding journey unique but also a bit more familiar. Even if you did not breastfeed the first time, some of that groundwork is still there. The body is smart like that.

Description (job description, duties, family info):

This mama is looking for a teammate that will jump in where needed with miscellaneous life tasks,household management, and help keep the kids’ lives running smoothly! This position will entail childcare 50% of the time, as mom has the kids every other week. On weeks with the kids, it will be a split schedule, as help is mostly needed prepping/getting kids to school, and then again once kids are back through bedtime. On the alternating weeks, mom would love assistance with miscellaneous tasks such as errands, finishing projects, meeting with contractors at the house, etc. 40 hours are

guaranteed for each schedule (roughly 8 hour days).

Weeks with kids:

Start time 7:30/8:30am, stay for a couple hours, go home, return later in afternoon and stay until

7:30/8pm. Some flexibility. Exact times may be worked out once school starts for kids mid August. 40 hours guaranteed, and can be a total of 8 hour days.

Weeks without kids:

Start time between 9-11am. Flexible. 40 hours guaranteed. Will not entail a split shift these weeks.

Mom loves to volunteer, home decor, pilates, anything retro, and is a very big music lover!

Duties outside of childcare/child laundry/tidying: Willing to help where needed, whether it’s errands, house upkeep, caring for their dog, helping pack lunch, assisting with bedtime, etc.

Important nanny traits: Empathetic, bright, flexible, patient, fun, worldly, can keep up, keen instincts, safety-oriented, good role model for kids

Benefits: Paid holidays + 10 days PTO

Requirements:

●4-5 years of experience

●Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record

●Must have reliable transportation

●Must be able to pass formal background check

●Non-smoker

●CPR and First Aid certification

●W2 position

●Covid vaccine required

●BONUS (but not required): Experience with Montessori, ability to travel when possible
