How to describe the magic that happens when folks gather in awe of the plants??? We met so many wild and cultivated medicinal plant friends and just had the best time learning together in community- with each other and our mama earth. It was a very special treat to see so many trees in bloom- including Hawthorn, Anacua and Red Buckeye.

If this looks like your idea of a good time, come learn with us! Our next session of Foundations of Herbalism begins this Fall but early bird registration (with a 10% discount through 3/31) is open now!

What our students have to say:
“Oh my goodness, what to say about Ginger Webb’s Foundations of Herbalism course? I remember reading the reviews and wondering if they were real. Could the class actually be that good? After spending eight months taking the course, I can give you a firm “yes”, the class is that good.

I’ve always loved plants and being outdoors and have an affinity for nature. I knew I would enjoy the class, but didn’t realize how much of an impact the people and the plants would have on me. Ginger and Lauren create an environment conducive to personal growth. It’s a place where you can freely learn, be yourself, and have time to sit still with the plants. You will feel supported no matter what amount of knowledge you come with.

I left the Foundations of Herbalism class feeling like I had found my home. It was a life affirming decision to take this course and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in exploring the world of herbalism.”

“I came to the Sacred Journey School of Herbalism with a desire to learn more about Texas native plants and their medicinal benefits. But I am walking away with a deeper understanding of the natural world around me and with a fuller relationship with the plants in my community than I could have ever imagined. I’m so grateful to Ginger and Lauren for sharing their wisdom and creating a space for people to learn these important traditions.”

🌼 Meet your next Herbal Ally: Mexican Hat (Ratibida columnifera) 🌼

An abundant perennial, Mexican Hat grows big with lots of stalks, leaves, and flowering heads. While all parts are medicinal in their own way, we mainly want the root. Ginger likes to tincture it fresh and use it for its soporific or sleep-inducing properties. A perennial favorite!

Join Ginger this coming Thursday, 3/19 to learn more about this abundant, medicinal wildflower! You won’t find it written about in many places, so this is a rare opportunity to learn more about this often overlooked medicine 💛

✨🌿Jessica’s story Part 2!🌿✨

“The course isn’t over, but I feel as though everything that I’m learning is just the beginning. It’s literally like 1% of what I have to learn. And I’m so excited because it’s super hands-on…We go out in nature. We talk about them [the plants]. I lie on the grass. I frolic. I just feel wonderful. So I hope that if you were thinking about it, that you really consider it. Ginger is super open. So is Lauren.
If you have any questions, I suggest that you reach out to them. They’re super inviting…
Ask the questions. Because if something brought you to this video, that at this point it’s like six minutes, then there’s a reason. And I always believe we should follow the signs…If I’m your sign, then I’m super happy about it. So take the class. That’s my testimony. I give it a 10 out of 10. Actually a 12 out of 10.”

Thank you for taking the leap, for being on this journey with us and for sharing your experience 💚💚💚 We can’t wait to visit you in Madrid soon 😉

If you are feeling drawn to study herbs, we invite you to join one of our online open houses! Our next one is this Monday, March 11th and you can RSVP from our bio. Get all the class details and more at gingerwebb dot com 🌿
Can’t make an open house? Reach out to us anytime at info@gingerwebb.com.

✨✨✨Pull up a chair and listen to Jessica’s story about how she fell in love with herbs, why she gives our Foundations of Herbalism a 12/10 and why she thinks this is your sign to join us on the green path this fall 🌿🌿🌿

Jessica is a current student in our 200-hour Foundations of Herbalism. She had so many wonderful things to say that we didn’t want to cut this video short…this video is part one and part 2 is posted next!

“How can I help other people feel better through medicine, through the most natural thing we can possibly do, which is go on a walk, go on a hike and see these beautiful herbs, harvest them, talk to them, be one with them and make medicine out of it? So I wasn’t sure how I was gonna do it. But then one day I was scrolling online and I found Ginger’s school and I enrolled and like I said, I then went to Europe, wasn’t gonna come back, but I came back to take this course and I am so glad I did.”
