In case you haven’t heard, this is the 15th and final year will be teaching this program in its current format. Our Foundations of Herbalism program consists of two classes that you can take together or individually:

🌿Wild Texas Herbalism (9 outdoor weekends in and around Austin, TX)

🌿NEW Herbal Allies 2026-27 Live Online Class Series with is open for registration!🌿

As a bioregional herbalist and Texas medicinal plant expert, Ginger Webb has been wanting to make this offering for years. Herbal Allies is an opportunity to indulge in just one Texas bioregional herbal ally each evening, going more deeply than before with personal, clinical experiences and practical applications, historical references as well as those from other practicing herbalists, and a downloadable monograph for each plant (current monographs range from 6 -18 pages).
Meets every two weeks, September 2026 - April 2027, Thursday evenings on Zoom.
Herbal Allies is open to anyone wanting to learn more deeply about the plants!

The Herbal Allies Series includes:
✨CLASSES EVERY TWO WEEKS: Live online classes with Ginger Webb.
✨RECORDINGS: Access to recordings of classes throughout the course.
✨DOWNLOADABLE MONOGRAPHS: Detailed information on each plant we cover in class for you to refer back to.
✨OPTIONAL GOODIE BOX: 10 Generous samples of dried, wild harvested herbs and 9 liquid extracts made with fresh wild harvested herbs to taste along during class. Limited quantities- sign up early to get yours!

“Ginger was born to talk about her passion. She pulls you into the lesson just by her energy. Her authentic approach to teaching held my attention far after classes were over. She taught me what it was to truly love plants. It was here where I first sat with a tree and felt her presence; it was here I learned true love was not plucking the flower, but to leave her with her bees; and it was here I were my soul bloomed into a new understanding of plant medicine.
A class is more than just its teacher. I learned a lot from my classmates as well and made some lifelong friends. Ginger’s assistant teachers are amazing and always helpful. Having tea every class was such a big part of really getting to know an herb. It awakened in me a love for hot tea! I feel like magic in the plant kingdom is suddenly visible and real. I recommend her course to anyone wanting to learn more than plants and uses. This course deepened my admiration for plants and made me feel confident in how to work with them correctly and respectfully. My gardens have changed from pretty to useful, my home library is FULL of plant ID books, and now I know I am never alone in a forest as long as a I can find a plant I know. Life as I knew it has been changed forever. 10/10 would recommend.”

🌱It’s incredible for us to see where our students go with their love for the plants. We are so excited for Courtney and in New Braunfels! Her shop is a beautiful and welcoming space filled to the brim with local medicines, ceramics, woven baskets, herbal books and thoughtful gifts. You can feel the love as soon as you walk in!
