1. Drink water before anything else

You’re not “detoxing” — you’re rehydrating after salt, sugar, alcohol, and big portions.
Aim for 16–20 oz in the first hour of the day (add a tiny pinch of baja salt for extra hydration and minerals).

2. Do NOT punish yourself with a long workout

Your cortisol is already elevated from:
– poor sleep
– heavy foods
– alcohol
– stress
– late-night eating
A long/intense workout only spikes it again.

Keep it gentle + short (10–15 min max):
✔ mobility
✔ stretching
✔ light bodyweight flow

3. Go for a long, slow walk

Walking stabilizes blood sugar better than ANY “fat-burning workout.”
Target 20–40 minutes, slow and conversational.

4. Choose one “green + protein” meal today

Not to “make up” for yesterday — but to soothe digestion.
Try:
Chicken & veggies
Salmon & greens
Turkey soup
Protein + greens bowl

Every time I meet people like .devgun (and many others!) who truly love what they do, it reminds me what’s possible with hard work and purpose. ✨

I’d been taking my time finishing my two fitness programs (in a magazine format) — Squishy Fit, A Healthy, Everyday Body and Desperate Bride Bootcamp — but after being around so much passion and drive, I got back to work. And now… they’re ready! (On my website soon! As soon as my tech guy aka my husband finishes the setup ☺️).
