Feel the Knead Massage Therapy

I've been a massage therapist since 1999. I graduated from Austin School of Massage, with an interest in a spa setting. I started practicing body work on my friends. The first time I used Trigger Point was on a friends husband. He was a construction worker with a bad back and in sever pain. I gave him a 60 minuet deep tissue with trigger point. After the session was done, I waited outside with his wife and five year old daughter. After several minuets he came out looking very sleepy. The five year old looks at her dad and says "Daddy why doesn't your face look mad anymore". His pain was gone and he could bend down and touch his toes. Being a massage therapist I know the benefits of massage, but this was the first time that I saw the effects of massage so quickly. I changed my business plan from spa setting to therapeutic and pain management. My goal for each client is to make them feel physically different. I specialize in deep tissue, sports and trigger point therapy. I also do prenatal, hot stones, and Swedish. I do community events such as MS150 Houston to Austin, a bike race used to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis, health fairs and the mighty dog walk used to raise money for Texas Hearing & Service Dogs.
