My home made energy bites. I’m not a big fan of any commercial energy bars. They all have added sugar and taste ridiculously sweet. Recipe in second photo. Pop one or two for a great snack during your day.

This is an example of a great green juice product because it is mostly green juice with little to no fruit juice. Look for the grams of sugar on the label. This one has only 4 g per 8 oz. This is one teaspoon. For comparison, orange juice has 21 g or 5 teaspoons of sugar 😮. Green juice is like a liquid multi vitamin that is quickly absorbed for energy.
It says 7 brain health foods but you can see more than 7. Here’s an explanation. Salmon and blueberries are 1 and 2, veggies 3rd, avocado 4th, fermented foods 5th, prebiotic 6th and rounding it out nuts are the 7th.
Loved this. Obviously we would clean the water first, right? Same with our own health. Why not start afresh, clean the muddy waters and maybe we wouldn’t need big pharma. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

I hear it ALL the time. If you are eating a standard American diet (SAD) you get plenty of sugar and it’s all hidden. Taking processed food out will alleviate a lot of these. ☘️

If your doctor tells you your overall cholesterol # is too high and you need to go on a statin please take ownership of your health and do periodic testing. Once a year does not cut it. Instead of teaching type 2 diabetics to match their carb intake with insulin, why not teach them to minimize their carb intake to minimize their need for insulin? I know why. There's no profit for big pharma in this message. Diabetes is a disease caused by an intolerance to carbohydrates. Doesn't it make sense to minimize the exposure to the intolerance?

This soup is another winner. It does have cream cheese so maybe if you are following a dairy free regime you could use coconut milk. We added a "bunch" of chopped cilantro while the pot was cooling down. One more thing, we added some veggies, mushrooms, red and green peppers. It was really tasty.

This gets tricky. Its always good to go non-GMO but did you know that 5% of ingredients are allowed to be non-organic in organic food. My advise, chose a label that says both and double your odds of not getting herbicides and pesticides in your gut.
