Some people with ragweed allergy notice itching or tingling after eating:
Melons (watermelon, cantaloupe)
Bananas
Zucchini & cucumber
Chamomile tea

This is called oral allergy syndrome. If it happens to you, let your allergist know!

We are Austin’s premier Allergy and Asthma docs! We are a small practice of only two doctors, so you will actually see your doctor at each and every visit! As our name suggests, we often see parent and child together for their allergy needs. We offer allergy skin testing, asthma management with lung function measurements, and complete allergy & asthma care including allergy drops, allergy shots and OIT.
