Ancestors embrace has officially made a gentle return after this past Luna llena. This formula came to me after visiting my homelands in south Texas, after hanging out with some very old mesquite trees at the family ranch. At the time, I hadn’t visited home in about 5 years, mostly wanting to avoid some trauma I was not ready to look at. My grandpa helped me collect some mesquite sap, I took it home and tinctured it in mezcal, thought about my visit. Ancestors embrace is a homage to my homelands of south Texas, and to the homelands from which my family descends (SLP, Guanajuato → TAM y COA → TX)

This blend is to help strengthen your intuition, feel the strength of your ancestors, remind you of what it took for you to be in existence today, support in dream work.

🌬️ 2024 in a few shots. This year was wild. Full of deep cuts, growth/challenges that would’ve scared me off a couple of years ago. I started offering classes independently, holding a deeper trust in doing what brings joy not only to me but the community, got on a plane for the first time EVER as a 29 year old 🥲 (I am a land creature!!!!), accepted new and challenging roles within my community, saying YES to more opportunities, connected with awesome ppl and even came out on Austin PBS with a fire cider bit.

And OH YEA, me N la bestie opened a fcking mini apothecary!!!! 😭

I like to reflect this time of year as we are deep in the north direction, our bodies are needing rest, our spirits are needing uplifting and also in places of needing to FEEL grief… and remember that we are tired, joyful, resilient creatures.

I turned 29 a couple of days ago ❣️ half way through my Saturn return and reaching the last year of my 20s 🕸️ It’s feeling like an initiation of sorts. Lots of dreams and intuitive feelings I was having last year are coming to fruition now. Feeling more protective of my energy and loved ones, & more certain of what I want in this existence, the vision is feeling clear.

Flowers grown by sam (I’m gonna use them for this years batch of cempasúchil agüitas), figs harvested with friends, hawk feather found on my bday, cake sam surprised me with (made by ), and the spider bear is how I see myself 😙🕸️

Los hermosos lugares que este camino me ha llevado ❤️‍🔥⚫️

Carrying fuego for my kalpulli has been a great honor, teacher of patience, boundaries, discipline y amor. I am so agradecida for all of the amazing people I met during this ceremonia, & the guidance of friends + elders. These travels + danzas are a part of the larger web that is us all. I am returning feeling inspired + ready to make medicinas and teach my lil yerbera classes + to be with the familar lands of nopal y mesquite. I am still gestating. Integrating + reflecting. El año nuevo de Tecpatl will be one of release, manteniendo nuestra palabra + honoring ourselves.

🌟 CLASS DROP: Herbal oil intensive 🌟 in this class we will discuss the various uses of medicinal oils, herb pairings & together we’ll craft 3 different kinds of oils! This is a very hands on experience for folks who are down to get… oily.

Class is $50-$75 sliding scale, if this is not within your budget pls DM me, no one will be turned away due to lack of funds.

All materials included: this includes organic herbs, oils, bottles, jars etc.

Folk medicine making series is a commitment to 3 classes together where we will have an open discussion about herbalism in a way that is easily digestible and you’ll actually feel like you can leave and make things for yourself and community 🫶🏽

DATES: 1/10/, 1/17, 1/24 (Wednesday afternoons 4pm- 5:30ish!— once you get me going, I talk a lot lol)

CLASS 1: how to start your home apothecary, what tools you’ll need, how to properly store herbs, book recommendations, mini book swap!

CLASS 2: building a relationship with the land, an open discussion of what it means to be in reciprocity, growing + foraging, 4- 5 native + non native plants to begin working with. Mini zine on said plants 🤲🏽✨

CLASS 3: medicine making day— as a class we will vote on what medicines we want to make that day! And you will get to leave with your own + the knowledge on how to confidently make things for yourself + loved ones✨

There are only 10 spots available due to limited space + resources! Cost of class is $60-$90 for the whole series, sliding scale 🫶🏽 no one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
