One way to create peace is to decide to stay on your own path while respecting other people’s paths. There are 8 billion personal realities simultaneously occurring at the same time. Everyone is right. Everyone is wrong. Stay in your own lane and we will get along much better. Sure…when we meet someone whose personal reality includes beliefs and actions that directly confront our own, we feel triggered. The work to resolve the trigger is not by controlling the other person. The work is an inside job of allowing, accepting, and embracing the existence of what that other person represents to you, and making peace with that. Making peace with it might mean letting go of how you define your identity and/or how you perceive others that don’t walk a similar path to you. If it exists, it’s by design. The Universal intelligence that creates all that is does not make mistakes. Choose to discover the medicine inherent in being triggered by another person, and our collective society will function better through diplomacy.

Support your nervous system. Spend more time grounding in nature than scrolling socials and watching the news. You can get up to date once a day on the things happening in the world. More important is to take care of you. A well balanced you will make better choices in a heated moment than the version of you that is anxious, stressed, and filled with cortisol. Take care of you, boo.
