March Committee Chair Spotlight: Dr. Christopher Cook, DO, FASA

Currently Chair of the Economics Committee.

Dr. Christopher Cook serves as Chair of the TSA Economics Committee and as TSA Vice-Speaker. He focuses on the economic, workforce, reimbursement, and policy issues shaping anesthesiology practice in Texas. Dr. Cook also chairs TSA's Ad Hoc Committee on 1099 and Locum Tenens Anesthesiologists and recently helped lead TSA virtual education for members interested in locum, 1099, and independent practice pathways. He previously served as Chair of the Communications Committee and was the 2024 recipient of the Ray Callas Outstanding Key Contact Award.
