IT'S FINALLY ON!!!

To all of you who have liked my page and promoted my business, recently or over time, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. This has been a battle, both externally and internally, to put together; but we're about to get things in motion!

In the coming weeks, you will have the opportunity to preview my newest line of training programs! YES, I finally have some things on paper and am ready to take it public!! Keep an eye on my posts as I begin to drop ALL NEW CONTENT and FREE WORKOUTS to show you where I'm taking this!

Gotta show ❤️ to Sue Falsone and my Masters Alma Mater ! Her presentation is bringing life to me and my insistence to sports coaches that I previously worked with that we NEED mobility/movement/YOGA days for athletes!!

The absolute foundation of strength and athleticism is one’s ability to move into powerful positions and be STRONG and STABLE through them . We spend tons of time in the weight room and doing SAQ, yet I see dysfunction through it all! Ankle mobility, hip displacement, and core strength are just a few of the major issues that are prevalent in young athletes (and more experienced ones as well). Why would you NOT invest the time to maximize that potential by working on things to solidify those functions? They will only give you the opportunity to be STRONGER, FASTER, and all around a better athlete!!

Those are all aside from the MANY other benefits Sue mentions in this presentation! Breath control, centering your focus, the different benefits that detoxify the body, and on and on and on!! Thank you for sharing your knowledge!! In fact, I’m pretty sure you taught me that ?

As a coach, I’m always looking for ways to improve my tool box and be the best possible resource I can be for my clients and athletes. That means I’m always looking to others to expand my knowledge and challenge my thinking.

I gotta show ❤️ to for his innovation and desire to help our industry. During COVID, he created the Sleep and Recovery Summit to allow wellness pros to connect when the 🌎 was locked down. I haven’t missed a summit since. Such inspiring minds and extremely valuable insights from great coaches. I’ve learned SO MUCH about the importance of sleep, recovery strategies, mental coaching, and so much more bc of this event. Keep doing what you do Coach!!

A reminder to myself and all of you!

Unfortunately the fitness industry does a great job of letting us believe that our struggles with health and fitness are solely a result of our excuses. I agree to an extent; but I’m here to tell you your excuses ARE valid.

✅ You’re allowed to be exhausted after a long day at work

✅ Your bad eating habits ARE due to a busy schedule and the need for nourishment in the midst of convenience/time. It’s NOT just bc you’re “too lazy to meal prep.”

✅ Your fitness goals are compromised bc you have a long, non-stop day of meetings, commuting, classes, kids activities, etc. It’s NOT just bc you’re lazy.

✅ “Grinding” on 3-4 hours of sleep is NOT the mark of hard work. In fact, it’s more detrimental to your health than not being at the gym (more on that later).

Fitness pros, including myself, need to be better about acknowledging that your life IS busy and daunting at times. We need to understand your inherent habit of putting others before yourself. We need to be better about finding ways to support your health and fitness goals WITHIN the confines of your busy and arduous life. 👏🏾IT’S 👏🏾NOT 👏🏾YOU. It’s us. I promise you that I will lead this change by example. I want to help you find practical methods to achieve your goals in a way that doesn’t cause more physical, mental, and emotional stress than you already deal with. Stay tuned for more.
