Our community showed up to fund our services at this year's Holders of Hope event, contributing to specific ACGL needs, including Camp Redbird, Grief Groups, and School and individual services. Donors were delighted to have a deliziosa surprise from Il Brutto Austin's Executive Chef, Erind Halilaj, who incentivized more contributions with a special invite for an exclusive tasting at his restaurant. Thank you, Erind Halilaj from Il Brutto and all of our guests who raised their paddles to support healing from loss.
Event photos from our Holders of Hope Gala are now live! 📸 View, download, and share your favorite moments—and don’t forget to tag us. Today's testimonial also comes from a former client, Jessica who was able to find Hope at the Austin Center for Grief & Loss after the loss of her child. The compassionate community that she found at the Center inspired her to volunteer, then join on full-time.
She's currently the director of operations working to make sure that anyone who goes through loss can find that same compassionate community. Join Jessica and give Hope today. Your support makes a lasting impact on those who need it most. austingrief.org/hoh

So much of the support that the Center receives comes from former clients--our most passionate volunteers. These are some of our most vocal cheerleaders, the people who volunteer to be on our board and stay involved with ACGL giving back long after they've found healing here.
One example is Jon, a former client who was able to find Hope at the Austin Center for Grief & Loss. Now, as a member of our Board of Directors, Jon is helping to extend that same sense of hope to others who are navigating loss. Join Jon and give Hope today. Your support makes a lasting impact on those who need it most. austingrief.org/hoh

As staff and board members started to plan the Holders of Hope gala, we all started talking about what the Austin Center for Grief & Loss means to us. One thing we all had in common was loss and a journey to a place of hope. That journey to a place of hope is what the center provides.
But it can only do that with your support. Be the reason someone can see the support group that they need to see. Join Sabrina and give hope today.
