Turkey Meatballs in Fresh Tomato Sauce is a meal that’s as delicious as it is nutritious! 🍅 With lean turkey, fresh tomatoes, and a touch of basil, this dish is full of bold flavor. The zucchini noodles make for the perfect low-carb pairing, keeping things light but still satisfying.

Ingredients:
🔹2 teaspoons olive oil
🔹½ cup thinly sliced green onion
🔹4 garlic cloves, minced
🔹¾ teaspoon salt
🔹¼ teaspoon black pepper
🔹12 ounces ground lean turkey
🔹1 ½ cups chopped tomato
🔹2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
🔹2 cups packaged zucchini noodles, steamed
Directions:
1️⃣ Heat 1 tsp oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high.
2️⃣Sauté green onion and garlic for 2 minutes, then season with salt and pepper. Transfer half to a medium bowl and half to a small bowl. Wipe out the skillet.
3️⃣ Mix turkey with the green onion mixture in the medium bowl; form 10 meatballs.
4️⃣ Heat 1 tsp oil in the skillet over medium. Brown meatballs, turning once, about 6 minutes.
5️⃣ Add tomato, basil, and the reserved green onion mixture. Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook on medium-low until meatballs are done.
6️⃣ Serve over steamed zucchini noodles.
