Sound meditation doesn’t teach us how to be calm, it teaches us how to be present. And in that space we learn how to be ok sitting with uncomfortable feelings.
So if you are looking for how to be more peaceful, first you have to find presence. It pulls you out of yesterday, out of projecting to tomorrow, and in that you land here.

This has become my affirmation “It’s not that I am calm, it’s that I am present”.

Sound meditation teaches us how to listen, without forcing ourselves to relax or change.

And through the process of listening something internally shifts. Listening deeply with sound and to our body, mind, and heart opens us to healing and peace.

This WEDNESDAY evening join my livestream sound session 🌝✨ it’s on the calendar.

June 26th, tune in to a virtual sound session meant to create a space of healing, grounding, relaxation and reconnection for your mind and body. I will guide you through a listening experience with the singing bowls
that soothe the nervous system, balancing brain activity and regulating your body’s internal processes.

Looking forward to playing at Lake Atitlan, Guatemala. Thank you to for inviting me to offer the sound medicine of the harp

This will be a journey. Selling my first harp to my student there in Guatemala.
Traveling and transporting my harp there by car, by plane, by bus, through the city and into mountains 🏔️🤎🏔️ and land of volcanoes 🌋

This past week
Everyday is music

Recording, teaching, jamming, practicing, meditating, performing, and more practicing.

If you’re a musician you know that music is always present, you hear it, you breathe it, you dream it. It’s your joy, it’s your love and it’s your pain and heartache.
It’s your best friend and sometimes your heaviest burden, but it never fails you.

Thank you for sharing in this

Just released this piece up on Bandcamp with harp and plant generated music.

Spoken words inspired by my teacher, Ustad Farid Nizami. His words in class are just as moving as his music…teaching me the healing power of sound which is endless and timeless.
Music is like an ocean, and the ocean has no ending.

This is already up on Patreon too.
