I began experiencing pain during my first trimester of pregnancy and felt unsure about how to manage it, but knew I wanted to get ahead of it. Do I think my 5-hour labor was connected to consistent chiropractic care during pregnancy?

Yes. I do.

Not because chiropractic “guarantees” a short labor.
And not because birth is something we can control.

But because birth is neurological.

Your uterus contracts because your nervous system tells it to.
Your pelvis opens because it’s designed to move.
Your baby positions based on the space and tension patterns available.

1. Get Adjusted Regularly

2. Prioritize Deep Sleep
Your nervous system repairs and resets during sleep. 7-9 hours isn’t indulgent, it’s essential for hormone regulation, mood stability, and healing.

3. Practice Breathwork
Deep, intentional breathing activates your vagus nerve and shifts you out of fight-or-flight mode. Try 4-7-8 breathing: inhale for 4, hold for 7, exhale for 8. Instant reset.

4. Move Your Body Gently
